Chapter 2

Chapter 2:

Athena's POV

I jogged back inside and saw that the "Terba group" was gone. Good. I quickly grabbed my books from my locker and stuffed em in my bag. I walked to my class and sat in my normal seat at the back of the class. Everything was normal until Logan walked in and decided to sit next to me. Just great. I mean he's nice and all but he is still part of that group and I really don't know if I should trust and open up to him.

"Hey." His soft voice speaks as I turn to look at him.

"Really?"

"Yes. I want to know more."

"There's no more to say."

"There's gotta be! You were in heaven for gods sake!" I hit his shoulder to make him quiet down.

"Not really. Just pay attention I don't wanna get in trouble."

"Okay but where do you live?"

"The park."

"What?"

"Yeah. I don't have anywhere to live and Demi never offered."

"Well, would you wanna come stay at my place."

"It's okay. I'm fine."

"No. Seriously. I live alone, I moved out a while ago and the rest of the group..."

"Clique."

"Whatever, doesn't come over. We usually hang out at Beck's place."

"I don't know."

"Come on. It's the least I can do for you sharing that secret with me."

"Well I guess it'd be more comfortable than the bench. Okay."

"Alright. Well now pay attention, I don't wanna get in trouble."

"Wow."

"Mrs. Leiyam, pay attention please." I nod towards the teacher and she turns around.

"Told you." I look at him and punch his arm. "Ow." I stick my tongue out at him. He does it back and then we pay attention and the rest of 6th period goes by fast.

I get up and walk outside to wait for Logan. He walks to me and then gestures me to follow him. I obediently follow. But Beck and Justin stop in front of him and do that little handshake thing that guys do. I quietly stand behind Logan. Praying that Justin won't see me.

"What's she doing here?" Beck decides to open his mouth.

"Oh she's coming home with me."

"Nice you gonna show her some of your 'moves'?" He laughs with Justin.

"No. She's just gonna hang out." Thank God he didn't say anything about staying the night there.

"Alright whatever you say. Hahaha." They walk off and we continue to walk. It takes about 6 minutes to get to his house.

"Here we are."

"Nice place you got here." It was a two story house with very good gardening outside and a pool.

"Thanks. Come on in." I walk into the enormous house and feel the smell of cologne smack my face. I quietly cough. I follow him up the stairs.

"Here's my room and here's the room you'll be staying in."

"It looks like a girl has lived here before."

"Yeah, my ex-girlfriend. She didn't really want to spend much time in her own room though. She liked to come in mine and I really didn't like what she'd do. So I kicked her out and broke up with her."

"Wow."

"Puy."

"Puy?"

"Yeah it's yup backwards, it's an inside joke between a friend and me."

"Okay then."

"Puy."

"Stop saying that!"

"Okay. "

"Okay well can you leave me alone to change into more comfy clothes."

"Where are your clothes?"

"In my bag."

"They fit in there?"

"Yes. It's magic."

"Can I see?"

"No. Get out!"

"Hey don't give me that attitude. Be grateful I'm giving you a place to sleep and stay in."

"I'm sorry, are you going to cry?" I give him a pouty face and slam the door on him. I walk to the bed and sit down. I dig in my bag to look for some sweats and a T-shirt. I pull out some A&F sweats with my super girl Tshirt. I got it to see the midnight premiere of Man of Steel. Just because I'm an angel doesn't mean I don't like to go see hot superheroes fight villains. In this case General Zod. I walk outside after I finish changing. Logan is watching Tv in the living room. I go sit on the opposite side of him on the couch. He looks at me and I look at him. "What?"

"Nothing." He turns his attention back to the Tv. "Are you hungry?"

"Nah."

"Okay then." "What's this?" He grabs my hand and looks at my bracelet.

"I actually don't know. It's been on me since I entered the kingdom." I look at it. It has two silver hearts around my name. I soon get a flashback but not one of heaven I'm on earth. Probably before I died.

~flashback~

"Hello love." His soft hands on my eyes. I smile and feel him putting something in my hand. He removes his hand and I open my eyes to see a silver bracelet. I turn around and give him a huge hug wrapping my legs around his waist and my arms around his neck. I pull my head back and kiss him. He smiles at me. I get down and he puts the bracelet on.

"I love it. Thank you. But you know what I love more?"

"What?"

"You."

~end of flashback~

"Athena? Are you okay?" I tear up and start breathing deeply. "Athena?!"

"I-I-I-I'm f-f-f-fine."

"No your not! Do you need a doctor?! Athena say something!"

"I said I'm fine!" I remove my jacket and let the wings come out. They were turning darker and weaker the more I stayed on this planet. I started to cry. Wanting to go back home. Though "he" wouldn't be there. He was gone. Taken to Hell. For a crime I begged him not to do. I loved him though. More than anything. I saw the shadow once again sit down beside me as I blacked out.
