Chapter 6

Chapter 6:

I woke up and yawned. I looked next to me and Logan was there. He was still sleeping. He was so cute. I played with his hair for a while. It was the weekend so no worries about getting to school. He then suddenly wakes up. He takes a look at me and smiles. I get up.

"Where you going?"

"To brush my teeth and make breakfast."

"Okay." I can feel him watching me as I leave.

"Stop!"

"What?"

"Looking at me! I'm hideous!"

"NO YOUR NOT!!" He runs up to me. " don't ever say that again."

"But it's true." I say looking down.

"Repeat after me 'I am beautiful' , your turn." I giggle.

"This is ridiculous."

"Athena!"

"Sorry.... Okay fine. 'I am b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l. Beautiful.' Happy now?"

"Very."

"Okay let go of my hands now. I'm gonna go brush my teeth."

"Fine. Hurry up."

"Kk." I walk to the bathroom and brush my teeth. Once I finish, I put my hair up into a messy bun. I walk into the kitchen. Logan is preparing the table. I start to make pancakes. It was pretty silent. But then he wraps his arms around my waist and rests his head on my shoulder. He is careful not to squish my wings. "What are you doing?"

"Watching you cook. I didn't know you could cook so good."

"I guess so."

"Why are you so insecure?"

"I don't know. I don't believe I'm good at anything or think I'm pretty."

"Well you are." He turns me around and looks into my eyes. I don't know why he does this so often. But I like it. We both lean in. He's about to kiss me but a doorbell rings and we both jump, causing me to spill a little of the pancake batter. "I'll get it." He runs off. I continue to cook.

"I didn't know Athena was here." I heard a familiar voice and I jump and turn around. It was Beck.

"Yeah, she's been living here for a while." Beck looks at me up and down. I give him a disgusted look. He backs off.

"Nice." He walks closer to me. He's right in front of me. I just stare at him, unsure of what to do. I can see Logan looking at beck. Beck whispers in my ear. "I didn't know you were this hot. You should stop by my place more often." He backs up and winks. "Alright well thanks for my keys man. See ya later. Oh and hey you guys should come to my party tonight." He winks and walks out.

"What'd he tell you?" Logan jogs up to me worried.

"Nothing bad."

"I hate that guy." His fists clench.

"I thought you two were friends?"

"Eh. He's more of Justin's friend."

"Oh."

"Yeah."

"Okay.... Well I'm gonna finish breakfast. I turn around and keep cooking.

"So you wanna go to the party?"

"Uh, yeah sure."

"Great." He comes up to me and helps me cook.

---- LATER THAT DAY ----

"I'm gonna go change." I get up.

"Okay. Yeah me too." He turns off the TV and walks to his room. I walk to my closet. Hmmm... What should I wear to the party. I decide on my tight baby blue strapless dress with a bow on the front. I also put on my black pumps. I walk to the bathroom and curl the tips of my hair. I pull back my bangs with a bobby pin. I add my makeup on. Some light blush and black mascara and eyeliner. And some lipgloss. Perfect. I walk to my bag and pull out some 'coverup' it's to hide my wings for 2 days. I usually only wear it for special occasions. I apply it and grab my small purse and wait for Logan in the living room. He comes out with a baby blue button up shirt and some dark skinny jeans. He looks hot. I get up and walk towards him.

"You look beautiful." I slightly blush.

"And you look H-O-T. Hot." He laughs and holds my hand. We walk to the car.

----- at the party -----

We get out the car and walk inside holding hands the whole time. We were greeted by beck.

"Glad you guys could make it." He winked at me.

"Thanks." Is all Logan said before pulling me away. We headed to the dance floor and danced. Everything was amazing. After a while they played a slow song. I wrapped my arms around his neck and placed his hands on my waist. We stared at each other sharing smiles. We put our heads together. "You know-" he spun me around. "I really like you Athena, since the first time I laid eyes on you."

"So do I." I nuzzled my head in his shoulder. He then pulled back.

"I have to use the bathroom be right back ok?"

"Okay." I made my way towards the couch. But I guess beck had a different idea. He grabbed my arm and pushed me against the wall. He looked at me up and down again.

"Let me go." I whispered. He just shook his head and pressed his lips against me. I pulled back and he looked at me confused. I tried pushing him back but he just pulled me back closer. He kissed my jaw line and worked down my neck. I whimpered and tried letting go of the grip on my hands on the wall. I kept turning my head. He gave up so he grabbed my waist and pulled me so close our legs were pressed against each other. He roughly pressed his lips against mine as he cupped his hands around my face. I pushed on his chest but he didn't move. I heard running and saw Logan punch Beck. I fell back out of breath. They began to fight. I ran up to them and pushed them apart.

"WHEN IM DONE WITH YOU BECK YOUR GONNA LOOK LIKE SHIT!" Logan spat out.

"IM NOT DONE WITH YOU! ATHENA WILL BE MINE, IDIOT!" He spit on the ground. Logan grabbed my arm and dragged me to the car. The whole drive home was silent.
