Meeting Mr. Perfect
Monday September 11, 2001
I slammed the small yellow door on the taxi and quickly fast walked towards my office.
I ran towards the door, relieved at the small amount of people walking into the building.
I took advantage of this and ran to the door knowing that they would come any second now.
Suddenly I was being shoved, pushed and thrown into random people.
Men and women in business suits were walking fast to get into the building.
And as usual the rolling doors were crowded with people trying to get in.
I squeezed in between people and gently shoved people out of the way and slowly inched myself closer to the revolving doors.
I suddenly felt a strong push on the small of my back and I felt myself push against the back of another innocent workwoman involuntarily.
The revolving doors slowly spun and the man behind me pushed me again and I slammed into a hard muscular chest.
“Are you ok?”, I heard a soft velvety voice say.
I looked up and found myself staring up at a man about my age with mesmerizing clear blue eyes.
He smirked down at me and I couldn’t help but notice his straight pearly white teeth.
I blushed and got out of his hold.
I straightened my jacket and muttered a small thank you and walked to the elevator.
I looked back to where he was at, and noticed he was still standing in the exact same place watching me.
I blushed and turned around again and went inside the elevator.
