The whole building shook as the loud boom sounded.

The things on my desk started to fall off, and I reached for them frantically trying to keep them on my desk.

I heard loud, bloodcurling screams in the halls and next door.

I debated with myself about going outside ,but my instincts took over when I heard more screams.

I ran out my office and into the hall.

Everyone was running around like loose animals.

They all were heading towards the elevator and stairs, pushing and shoving people.

It was a horrible sight to see.

I closed my door again, and ran to the window to see what was happening.

I couldn't see anything so I opened my window and stuck my head out the window.

I looked around until, U finally saw what was going on.

The upper building was on fire and looked like a bomb had exploded.

silently gasped and closed the window.

I looked at the man and he looked back at me.

"What's going on out there?" He asked, standing up from his chair.

I ignored him and grabbed my bag and cell phone.

"The building is on fire, we need to head out quickly." I said getting out of the office.

"Wait, what did you just say?" I heard him say.

People were still trying to get into the elevators and some were going towards the stairs.

"Are you coming?!" I shouted at him.

I waited outside the office for a while and he finally came out.

He saw the crowd of people trying to get out and silently gasped.

"Follow me." I whispered to him.

As we got closer to the huge mob of people, screams and shouts started to be heard.

I turned into the hall to my right and started to jog as I saw the red glowing exit sign.

I pushed the door open and took off my heels.

I heard the man try to catch up behind me and I started running down the stairs.

"Hold up! It's just a fire, it won't get to us that fast." I heard him say.

I sighed and looked behind me, he wasn't far away so we might get out of here in 10 minutes.

"This building was built in the 70's, long story short. A bomb just went off only 50 floor above us, and almost half of that floor exploded. And, something tells me it's not long before this building collapses." I said to him running down the stairs even faster.
