This friend of mine has this friend of hers, but he's a bit of a jerk.
"What I'm trying to say is, maybe," She fidgeted then turned to me. "I want to change him. For the better, you know?" Her voice trailed off, a bit hesitant but mostly persistent.
I almost gave off a snide comment at her but I shook my head. Thinking of my current situation similar to hers, I brushed off the thought.
A bit disappointed, I finally said. "But is he willing to change?"
