It was the stupidest and a cowardly thing to do; forget it like it never happened.
Avoid talking about it, letting it slide off course, change the topic and keep a straight face to avoid further suspicion. But that method only makes it more obvious, to the fact that she's affected; she's bothered by it that she acts like it never occurred at all.
But it did happen, and she cannot escape it.
