Class Isn't Always Boring

I find the best parking spot at the front and climb out of the driver side. But people are glaring at me like I just escaped from a mental hospital or something. Probably because I'm new, that's understandable.

I walk in the front and glance at the office. But suddenly some ram runs into me making me drop everything.

"Sorry," he says.
"No, no, it's fine, first day couldn't go worse, right?"
Making him laugh we both bend down to grab my books and supplies that spilled from my bag.
"Well, again, sorry, and my name's Cam, Cameron Dallas."
I didn't know how I hadn't recognized him at first, hilarious when it comes to vines, and his movie 'Expelled' was great. But I instantly stop myself by making a fool and fangirling.

"My name's Sage." I fill him in because we could turn out being friends.
"Well, Sage, I'll walk you to the office and your locker." He says while taking my hand and waiting for me when I walk in the office door.

"Okay, locker number, 604 and first period, Mrs. Shultz for English." I read off my new schedule.

"No way!", he practically shouts, "My locker is 613 and Shawn my best friend has your first period. I'm down the corridor in Mr. Gold for history."
"Cool, but I'm really hungry. I had some cereal this morning but I'm a food hoover." I tell him exactly about what food I like.

"Me too, let's head to the cafeteria, I'll show you where I sit too in case we have the same lunch."

"Okay," I agree, "but hopefully the food for breakfast is good."

It only took 5 minutes for him to show me where he and his friend Shawn sit plus eat a breakfast burrito which was surprisingly good.

"So, here's your class, and Shawn sits in the front. Have fun, and I'll meet you at your locker after class to get you settled in," He informs me.

"Okay, after class, meet here, bye."

I walk in seeing a lot of new faces. Who knew California would be so friendly?

I sit in the front, hoping to talk to Cameron's friend Shawn, who I have yet to meet. I take out my phone and check Instagram because off all the dings I hear.
But, when I suddenly look up, I see the most beautiful Canadian, Shawn Mendes!
I didn't know Cameron Dallas was talking about Shawn Mendes. But I should've because they're best friend's in Magcon and vine, also real life.

"Hey, I just ran into Cam in the hall, you're Sage, right?" He asks with that amazing accent and I can't help but almost faint.
"Uh-huh," I manage to stutter out.
"Well Cam managed not to be late while telling me that you're new and literally ran into him this morning," He chuckles.
"Yeah, well, he ran into me but same thing I guess."
"He also said you were very beautiful. Can't say he's wrong about that." He says and I can't help but blush.
"Thanks, so are you". I blurt out not knowing what to say.

Idiot.

He then sits next to me and I freak out not knowing I sat next to his seat. While thinking about moving, he say's, "Now, I'm going to try not getting distracted by your cute shyness and beauty."

"Um, well, your Shawn Mendes, so I'll try not to be distracted by you and not ask you to sing to me."
Making him laugh, he then say's, "Well, maybe I will sometime."
"Sound's amazing, and my birthday's coming up." I inform him.
"Looking forward to it." He says.

After that amazing five minute talk, we both turn to the front when Mrs. Shultz walks in.

"Morning everyone, okay, we have a new student. Sage, would you like to come to the front and tell us about yourself please?" She asks with that soft voice most female teachers have.

"Okay." I go up to the front and look at Shawn, what's nice is he was already looking at me along with everyone else.

"Well, first..." I ramble on and then go sit down.

"Okay, well class, let's catch Sage up, now, we're reading Romeo and Juliet right now. Alex, could you start us off on page 4, stanza 2, please?"

Mrs. Shultz hands me a copy of the manuscript and I follow along with the book I've read several times already.
I can't help but notice Shawn staring at me so I point at his book trying to get him to pay attention.
He nods with a frown and we both look down at our books.
