Just as a side note, which Queen do you prefer Ayla or Elsa?
Chapter 5
'Elsa' she could hear her voice being called, 'Elsa' her shoulders were shook violently until her eyes flickered open and after a few seconds her blurry vision focused on her sister, 'Ayla' she whispered. 'Oh Elsa, thank god. I thought you were dead you've been unconscious for hours' Ayla explained clutching Elsa's severely burnt hand. 'What happened?' Elsa looked down at her body then tried to sit up but pain lanced through her when she realised that most of her body was covered in bandages.
Ayla looked sadly at Elsa before answering 'there was a fire in the study and somehow you were knocked unconscious then when one of the guards found you your dress was on fire but by the time they put it out you'd been severely burnt' 'am I going to be ok?' Elsa asked to which Ayla answered honestly 'I don't know. Your burns aren't very deep but they're covering pretty much your entire body.' Elsa gasped in horror and all she could do was sob.
'Please, leave me be. I want to be alone' Elsa cried to which Ayla lowered her head and left the room. As she closed the door and began to walk she walked straight into a strong chest 'I'm sorry' she whispered without looking up. The man placed his finger beneath her chin and raised her head until her amber eyes were looking up into his aqua ones, 'is everything alright' Prince Adam asked concerned, Ayla began to nod her head but then started shaking her head and before she could stop herself, tears began cascading down her face. Adam hauled her to him and held her tightly as she wept into the crook of his neck 'what's the matter your highness' Adam pulled her away and held her at arms-length' 'someone set fire to the study and Elsa has been severely burnt' Ayla whispered, her voice cracking.
'Who would do such a thing' he gasped as he held her close to him, 'I don't know, I don't think Elsa remembers anything' Ayla sniffled. 'We will find the culprit' Prince Adam insisted just as Prince Hans rounded the corner 'your majesty, I just got the news about Queen Elsa, is she ok. May I see her' his frantic words poured from his mouth 'she is distressed but I'm sure she wouldn't mind' Ayla knocked then opened the door to Elsa's bedroom.
Hans entered the room and immediately saw Elsa, lying on the bed covered in bandages 'Queen Elsa?' Hans mentioned quietly unsure whether she was awake or asleep. Elsa turned her head in the direction of Hans 'how do you feel?' he asked concerned to which she lowered her head and even through the bandages he could see that she was sobbing. Without hesitation he hurried to her side and knelt beside her bed gently holding her frail hand in his own.
For an age she sobbed but Hans stayed where he was, not moving and in complete silence until Elsa finally calmed down. 'Do you remember anything about what happened?' he enquired looking straight into Elsa's bloodshot eyes, she slowly shook her head and closed her eyes but snapped them open again 'yes... there was a man. He was tall, probably six foot at least and he was wearing blue' 'do you remember anything else? Who he was? What his hair colour was? What sort of build was he? Did he say anything?' Hans frantically asked. 'I don't know who he was, he looked slim but the fire... oh I don't know I wasn't concentrating on anything I was barely conscious... actually he did say something... something about my days being Queen are numbered' Elsa sighed deeply when she realised that she couldn't remember anything else.
'Thank you. I'd better go and let you get some rest' and with that Hans hurried out of the room and closed the door, he rested his back against the wall and let out a deep breath. His eyes darted up and down the corridor before he dashed off towards his room, but half way down the corridor he stopped dead in his tracks when something caught his attention he glanced outside and saw Ayla and Adam walking along the stone path with their arms entwined... he instantly saw red. Rage burned inside of him until the window before him cracked.
