I close the study door and turn to Brittany. It's time i told her the truth straight out. "Brit, babe. 4 years ago i dated a woman called Darian and she contacted me recently and told me she had a son after we broke up. my son. I'm sorry. I love you and Harmony more than anything." I tell her worried face. "Ok, but this won't affect us as a family though, will it?" She swallows hard. "No. I'm not going to have anything to do with it and if he, Niahl, decides to find me when he's older then that's his choice but for now its just us. I just need to pay for his costs, ok?" I reassure her. "Ok." she smiles in a strained and forced way. I pull her into a hug. "I love you." I tell her and pull away. Then i gently lift her chin to look at me and kiss her slowly and sweetly. "But i better get to work!" I say and pull away. "Bye! I love you! Don't worry." I say, kissing her forehead. Then i leave for work.

Once Trevors left i walk through to the bathroom and sink onto the floor, leaning my back against the wall. Another son......With Darian......? How will this not affect us? I let a single warm tear run down my cheek.
