'Today's the day ' Dirk tells himself pacing around his room 'today's the day I'm going to tell him' he adds then sighed softly and sat on his bed taking his shades off and laying back groaning. "Whats your issue?" An almost annoyingly familiar voice asks from dirk's doorway. Dave. "None of your business Dave " Dirk grumbled sitting up in his bed looking at the younger blonde in his doorway. "Oh shit, shades are off. that bad eh?" Dave asked crossing his arms leaning against the door frame looking almost concerned for his brother. Almost .
Dirk sighed putting his shades back on "I'm going to tell Jake I like him.. like,like like him..but I feel weird and nervous... I'm a fucking Strider I am not supposed to get nervous! " he threw his hands up in exaggeration. Dave sighed "we may be striders ,and it might be really be hard to believe.. but we still feel real human emotions besides irony and coolness " Dave said . "Wow that was the most motivational thing you have said to me in a while Dave " Dirk said "but I'm still nervous " he mumbled "c'mon Dirk. Its so obvious he likes you in that way. Don't be so nervous about it dude " he said then there was a ring at the doorbell "oh yeah, I said john could come over and play some video games "Dave said earning a eyebrow wiggle from his brother "no homo " Dave said with a eye roll. "Well you have fun 'playing video games' with john, I'm going to meet up with Jane Roxy and Jake " dirk said getting up then going down stairs with his brother behind him "good luck bro "Dave said and Dirk opened the door letting john in and he walked out of the house to his motorcycle, it was orange with black flames on the gas tank, he couldn't help but grin every time he saw it and rode it. He got onto the motorcycle then started it up and pulled out of the driveway and stopped to double check his phone to make sure they we're for sure meeting at Roxy's place. Once he was done, he rode his motorcycle to Roxy's place

---------------Time skip to Roxy's,place -------------

Jake ,Roxy and Jane we're sitting on Roxy's porch steps and then they are met with a lot of dust. After the dust settled ,the four of them went inside Roxy and Jane giggling . Dirk had told the two girls his plan and they Just love the two together so much they could barely contain themselves, especially Roxy. Keep in mind she is probably a bit drunk but that's to be expected with her.
Dirk let out a deep sigh . He was really nervous about this and it was starting to show with his actions and he tried his best to keep his Strider cool together. Jane caught onto this and sighed "Roxy, keep Jake company, I need to talk with Dirk for a moment " she said with a sweet smile. "Okay baby" Roxy grined at Jane "hurry back, it's no fun with just two people here when there could be four" Jake said. Jane walked with Dirk to the kitchen "why are you so nervous Dirk?"she asked "This is more than when you first met him away from the computer " she added. "I don't know " Dirk grumbled hitting his head on the counter with a semi loud thud "I'm confessing a 3 year crush on him, I don't know why this is kicking my ass so hard " he added with a rather loud sigh. "Dirk. You know he likes you more than just 'best pals '"he said softly putting a hand on his shoulder "you got this Dirk. I believe in you that this will work, and when your done and you become boyfriend and boyfriend I will bake you guys some cookies " she smiled warmly to him. "Thanks Jane" he smiled slightly at her. "Ready to go back out there and tell him cowboy? " she asked smiling at the nickname, just because of his Texan accent he tries to hide but at times he fails miserably at doing so. He rolled his eyes then smiled "yes I am. And don't call me cowboy " he crossed his arms. The two went back to the living room with Roxy and Jake "took you guys a while, something wrong? " jake asked looking to Dirk and Jane. Roxy giggled standing up and going over to Jane and they watched as it all unfolded. "Alright. " Dirk said taking a deep breath "Jake. We have known each other for about 4 years, correct? " Jake nodded "yes about 4 years" he said looking at Dirk questionably. "Jake. I like you. Like...really like you...in fact like is and understatement on how I feel for you " Dirk said "are you...saying what I think your saying..? " Jake asked "if you think I'm saying I really love you and possibly want you to be my boyfriend then yes. Yes I am." Dirk said trying his best to keep cool in this situation. There was a small silence before Dirk was nearly tackle hugged by the small brunet boy but he quickly caught himself and Jake before he could fall back. "So...is that a...I feel the same way or..?" Dirk asked then Jake looked up at him with a wide grin "it's a definite I feel exactly the same way " he said burying his face in Dirk's chest. Jane and Roxy gave proud clapping like they were proud mothers to their children for making their otp happen.
