Dirk's pov.

You left Roxy's house to go get your Swim trunks. You make your way to the house you,and your two brothers live. You open the front door seeing your little brother Dave with 4 other kids playing a game on their D.S systems. The 4 friends were Roxy's little sister Rose, Jane's cousin John, Jake's step sister Jade, and Dave's boyfriend karkat. Karkat was a..pretty interesting kid..he had really horrible anger issues- you were snapped out of your thoughts when a red ds flew past your head hitting the wall hard enough for it to shatter "GOD DAMN IT EGBERT WHY DO YOU ALWAYS HIT ME WITH THAT DAMN BLUE SHELL YOU FUCKNUGGET! " yelled karkat who threw the ds. See. Anger issues. "Well hello to you guys too " you say and they all look to you realizing you were home. "How long have you been here? " Dave asked you raising a brow. "Long enough for me to almost get my face smashed with a ds." You say and karkat turns a deep red color "er..sorry.. about that " he apologized embarrassed. "Its cool kid " you shrug it off then go up stairs to your room but stop and back up "bro home?" You ask Dave. "In his room doing God knows what " he answered . You shrug it off then go back up stairs and knock on your older brother's door "it's open " you hear a deep familiar voice answer and you slowly open the door and see your brother polishing one of his katana blades. "bro, I'm going to to the beach with Jake, Roxy and Jane. " you say leaning against the door frame crossing your arms watching him. "alright, let me know if you go anywhere else."he says barely glancing up at you . "Understood" you say then go across the hall to your room. You look through your closet for a bit before you find your orange swim trunks pretty easily despite having most if your clothes be black, white or bright orange in color. You pick them up and head out of your room silently "I'm off now!" You yell then exit the house and make your way back to Roxy's house.

-end of Dirk's pov. Now 3rd person pov.-

The two boys eventually got back to Roxy's house And they were all dressed, they just put their normal clothes on over the swim clothes, they all decided to just walk to the beach, it is much less of a hassle for them apparently. The 4 made their way to the beach, since it was the middle of spring there was a good amount of people there but not an 'alarming ' amount. The four of them sit down on the beach shore close to the water were it is just a little damp from tides coming in. Dirk and Jake occasionally went under water and swam around for a bit. After about 3 hours of being at the beach, the 4 teens decided to meet up at the Strider's house. Jake and Jade checked in with their grandmother, Jane and John did the same and they all kind of decided to stay the night, after Dirk and Dave begged their older brother to let their friends stay. Bro hadn't had a problem dealing with 8 kids and karkat, he just really enjoyed fucking with his younger brothers and that was exactly what he did. Bro decided bringing over mom lalonde, Mr.egbert (dad ) and Jade and Jake's grandma would be a good idea because why the fuck not talk with other guardians right? The Strider household was going to be rather busy tonight.

--WHEN THE OTHER GUARDIANS GET TO THE STRIDER'S --

The adults all sit at the kitchen table chatting while the kids all watched a movie on Dirk's laptop, karkat was mumbling about how stupid the movie was and how it was compared to the book (because karkat )
Dirk had Jake in his lap, Jane and Roxy cuddled together, as did Dave and karkat. Dirk earning a death glare from Jake's grandma a few times.
The movie started to become boring half way through it so they turned it off and all 9 of them looked to the adults.
"Brooooooooooooooo " the two Striders whined to get the adults attention and the adults looked to the kids "whaaaaaaat?" Bro answered "we are fuckin bored " Dave crossed his arms. "Nice to mean you we are fuckin bored, I'm bro. What do you want me to do about it?" Bro replied back crossing his arms mocking Dave. "Got any alcohol? " Mrs. Lalonde asked "mother no " Roxy and rose said in unison. "Mother yes." Their mom replied back. This continued for all of about 3 minutes before bro sighed."as much as I love seeing family get in arguments, that is getting annoying " he crossed his arms "you are annoying but we deal with you " Dave and Dirk mumble "heard that" bro said shooting Both boys a glare, but they were not necessarily fased by it. Granted it would have been nearly impossible to see with his damn shades on, but they knew. Mrs lalonde smirked "I have an idea ~ " she said standing up. "Its a game. " she added "Striders. Middle of the room" she said. The two boys sighed and walked to the middle of the room "you too ~ " she said pointing to bro. He reluctantly did so
"Alright. Striders. All of you. Truth or dare? " she asked "dare. " they all said which made her smile wider "I dare you all to take off your sunglasses for the rest of the night. " she said smirking as the three guys turned paler than usual "and you can't say no " she added "why the fuck not?!" Dirk asked quickly.
"Its either that or you all strip to your boxers, shades an all~ " she smirked. The three looked at each other, actually uneasy, even bro looked uncomfortable. "Maybe you should let them say no " Jake And Jade's grandma said noticing how uncomfortable they looked. "C'mon I just wanna see the pretty eyes they hide " mom lalonde said shrugging. Bro sighed and took off his shades, he didn't open his eyes yet. Every one was actually shocked when the other two took off their's as well. "Holy shit " mom mumbled, she didn't think they would actually do it either.the three opened their eyes (first time anyone has seen their eyes ) and everyone was shocked. Bro's were a really dark orange, Dirk's a bright orange and Dave's we're a bright red color. Everyone looked in amazement "happy now?" Bro asked slightly with a growl. "Holy fucking shit. Your eyes are...all..beautiful!" She said in amazement. Why was she so amazed? She herself has magenta eyes as did her daughters.
The night went on, soon the other adults had to leave so they did so, saying goodnight and Dave, karkat, john, rose and Jade all went to Dave's room and Dirk's set of friends went to his room and they all went to sleep.
