Alpha hang out (part 1)

-----about a week after the last chapter.-----

Dirk and Jake sat on the floor, Jake in Dirk's lap in Roxy's room and Roxy and Jane sat on Roxy's bed, the 4 watching a really boring movie because they didn't have much else to do. "Ugh this is so fucking boring! " Dirk groaned burying his face in the crook of Jake's neck. Jake gently pet Dirk's hair lazily . Roxy paused the tv then looked to Jake "got any ideas for something fun?" She asked reaching over And poking him lightly in the side. Jake thought for a moment "we could go to the beach?" He asked. That seemed to be a great idea to the other three "that sounds fun" Jane smiled closing a book she had been reading and set it aside on Roxy's night stand. "Well then let's go to the beach, better than watching a movie that literally is killing me to watch " Dirk shrugged. The 4 all agreed with that and they all quickly went to their homes (except Roxy of course ) to get swim wear.

Jake's pov.

You walk home quickly from Roxy's house to get your swim wear. When you get home You are greeted by your step sister's white dog jumping up to you, you chuckle and pick him up gently petting him and he licks your face getting slobber all over your glasses "eww" you grumble and would have been mad but you couldn't get mad at the old dog. You set him down then you gear your grandmother's voice in the other room "Jake? That you sweet heart? " she asks "yeah gramdma it's me!" You call back then walk to the other room looking at your grandma at the kitchen table. "What are you doing home early? I thought you were hanging put with your friend..did plans get canceled or something? " she asks "no no no, I came to get my swim trunks because we are planning on going to the beach, that and I figured I better check in with you so you know where I am " you explain earning a nod in understanding from your grandma "alright, thank you for checking in, be careful, and have fun Jake " she smiles, you smile back then Give her a hug and go to your room to get your swim trunks. You look through your closet for a minute or two then finally find a green pain of swim trunks . You quickly debate taking your goggles along so you wouldn't potentially ruin your glasses. You shrug then grab the green pair of goggles from your dresser then you make your way out of your room "I'm off again grandma! I will back at around 6!" You say loud enough for her to hear "alright Jake! If you are out any later please call me and check in again, and check on jade and pick her up on your way back, she is at the Strider's house " she calls back "alright, I will!" You say before leaving and heading back to Roxy's house.

Jane's pov.
(Involves changing and body negativity but then body positivity, might be triggering?)

Luckily, you didn't have to go home for your swimsuit, Roxy had her little sister's girlfriend make me one for her house in case I didn't want to go home since it's a long walk...it's pretty weird and the logic needs some work but I'm not complaining, my mother and father would have probably made me stay at home once I walked through that door. I really want to hang with Jake, Dirk and Roxy so I'm glad I didn't have to possibly stay home for the day. You grab the light blue swim suit Roxy had in her closet for her and head to the bathroom in Roxy's room. You sigh and set the swim suit down on the sink and you take a look at yourself in the mirror. You strip yourself of your shirt looking at yourself. You are not the skinniest of all girls...you are on the chubby side which makes you feel negitive towards your body at times. You wish you were slimier and less 'thick ' . You wish you were a skinny girl that just had girls and boys drooling over you...but you weren't... ypy were what most people consider 'gross' for having a little meat on your bones. You are lost in thought and are snapped out if it when Roxy walks into the bathroom with a concerned look in her face "every thing okay Janey? " she asks leaning against the door frame. "Roxy... do I look pretty..? " you ask looking down. "What? No...you look beautiful Jane.. " she said "why do you ask..?"
"Because I don't feel beautiful.. I wish I was skinny like you.." you mumble and then your wrapped into a hug from Roxy. "Janey. Skinny or not I think your absolutely beautiful. To beautiful for words and I love you.." she said softly and very reassuringly to you. It makes you tear up almost and you hug her back tightly "thank you Roxy.. " you mumble "besides Janey, who said a little chub was a bad thing? " she kissed your cheek then left you to finish changing into the swim suit. You smile contently then finish changing

(I will begin writing part two of this in a few minutes , just got to give my arm a break for a bit, besides I'm proud of how this is going so far and I don't want this chapter to be unbelievably long with all the pov switches (Dirk's pov will be next ) so yeah.
