He's my first kiss! (technically)

Everyone went back into the beach house. While they showered and had fun and everything, I grabbed my PSP, put it into my short sleeved jacket and hurried away to the back yard. I went behind this big trunk of an unnaturally placed tree and sat behind it. Instead of playing a game, I selected the movie icon. Thirty anime shows/movies popped up. I was feeling some mecha so Muv Luv Alternate it was.

I clicked on episode 14.

As I watched I felt comfortable, like I was home. I definately wasn't bored anymore. My fun was interrupted when a shadow fell to my side. My heart gave a start; for a good moment I thought it was a ghost. Instead it was something worse, or I should say someone.

Kale peered at the show airing on my PSP. "Why am I not surprised."

I blushed and pressed the screen against my stomach so he wouldn't see. "What is it?"

"Alison was looking for you."

I tsked and stood up, glaring at him, "So you just volunteered to look?"

Instead of answering me he just gave me this really dark look. I lowered my chin, feeling a little bad but before I could apologize he turned and walked away. I stuffed my PSP into my pocket and climbed up the large set of stairs. We entered into the large kitchen.

Jack was settled on the island table wearing just a dry pair of beach shorts. His chest - my God!

I looked away fast. My cheeks starting to heat up. How could a seventeen/eighteen year old be so... Choca. Stop it. Ignore his ripped arms and six pack. Ignore it! In his hand was a bottle, Beth was in front of him giving him the 'I want to f- you' look. Alison and Ria were preparing the sandwiches. When I entered Alison glared at me.

"Would you stop disappearing off whenever you please?"

I scowled at her. It wasn't like she was my mother so why was she even trying. Ugh, I wanted to go finish my episode of Muv Luv, things were getting so interesting.

"Alright, Jack get off the table. We're serving food." Alison said, without glancing up from the plate she was preparing. But she scowled and tsked, "And put the damn bottle away, it's two o'clock in the afternoon."

"Yes ma'am," snickered Jack and hopped off the table, though he kept the bottle in his hand. Beth bumped into him and gave him a flirtatious look that he returned. Well, whoever the mystery girl was, it seemed like Beth and Jack were about to hit it off. The two were practically glued to each other already. He laughed about something and then our eyes inadvertantly met. Instantly, that stupid memory resurfaced, making my entire body hum. What's worse is the fact that his eyes were so damn mesmerizing, I just wanted to stare at it all day. Nonetheless, I forced myself to turn away and found a seat at the island. It couldn't be helped that Kale happened to sit next to me. I frowned at the similarities to a shoujo manga this was, but I knew that wasn't going to happen. This was actual life, shit like that doesn't happen in real life, especially not to an otaku like me. Speaking of which, I had to read about the author of Alice Academy, I really liked the manga but I forgot to look up the author for it. I already knew several others like Eiichi Oda, creator of One Piece (one of the best shounen mangas out there, just saying). The more I thought about it the more I had to get online and start googling. Of course that was impossible right now, but I decided later on when everyone was sleeping.

A red plate with Lays chips, tuna sandwich, and a watermellon was slid down to me. Subcontiously my hands started to raise so I could thank the food, japanese style, but I stopped just in time. Just play it cool.

I popped a chip in my mouth and the others started to talk about something (I zoned out). I just couldn't stop thinking about anime or manga. Someone might call me obsessed but I wasn't ashamed of it. I just realy loved it. I wanted to make anime before, then found out how cheap they're paid. I want to do it for the experience and the love to do what I want but let's face it, bills are going to have to be paid.
