Chapter Two
Today was a perfect day in Chester-by.
Outside in the garden Leroy's dad was mowing the grass, which needed a good mowing, as it was far too long.
The birds were in the trees or sitting on the fences, chirping at each other.
The sky was a nice shade of blue and clear of any clouds. The sun was brightly shining in the sky, casting its light and heat down and all around.
Leroy was bundled up in his covers, but he woke up, as the light was shining on his face and he was sweating, as the suns heat was burning through his window.
He shoved the covers away from his boiling body and let the covers drop to the floor. He stumbled off his bed, stretching and yawning.
After that he went through the boxes containing his clothes and picked out a blue vest top, black jeans, black socks, a black belt and black tight boxers and left them laid out on his bed.
He made his way to the small bathroom and found that his dad had placed in the cupboard toilet rolls, bleach and cleaning products and towels and flannels.
He took a big white towel and hanged it on the peg on the back of the door, while he turned the lock on the door.
He found the shampoo, conditioner, bubble bath and sponge placed in order on the baths edge.
He ran some hot water, plugged up the plug hole and added some bubble bath that smelt like honey almonds.
He unbuckled his belt, unbuttoned and unzipped his black jeans and pulled his jeans and underwear off, as well as his socks.
He turned the hot water tap off and got into his sweet smelling, hot bath.
He grabbed the sponge and began to wash himself.
The bathroom window was open and he could see a few trees. He could hear the birds too and the sound of the mower cutting grass.
When he was done he placed the sponge back on the edge of the bath and laid down in the bath to wet his hair. He could hear and feel the water in his ears.
He sat up and pushed his black fringe and dyed blue hair off his face so then he could see and get the shampoo and conditioner, which smelled like citrus and applied them into his hand.
He rubbed them into his soaked hair and when his hair was nice and soapy, smelling of lemons and lime, he laid down in the bath and rinsed his hair.
He ran his hands through his hair to help wash it under the water.
When he had done he unplugged the bath and stood up and got out the bath and onto the carpeted floor.
He grabbed the towel and dried himself off.
He unlocked the door and with the towel wrapped around his hips he walked to his room, while in one hand holding all his dirty clothes and chucking them in a corner in his new room.
He went to the bed and grabbed his boxers, but when he was about to go to the corner of his room to put his pants on, as his windows had no curtains he saw out of his window into the next garden a young girl in a purple vest top and shorts, sitting on the ground, reading.
Leroy stared for a little while, but he then hurried away from the window with his clothes, in case she looked up and saw him staring back practically naked. He got changed and left the towel in his room, crumpled on the floor, as he headed down to get some breakfast.
He went down the stairs and passed the locked front door, the living room and came into the kitchen, which had cardboard boxes everywhere.
The fridge was plugged in and he found cheese, milk and sandwich meats. He took two slices of? breaded ham and he found bread in the bread tin.
He made his sandwich and ate it, quickly. He drank some milk straight from the bottle.
He went upstairs and found on the sink his toothbrush and toothpaste and cleaned his teeth. Then he got his trainers from his room and went to the garden, where his dad was sitting on the ground resting after cutting the lawn.
"Morning son, how did you sleep?" asked his dad, as he saw Leroy come into the garden.
"Morning, and it was ok, apart from the sun blinding me and making me hot, listen I'm gonna go explore the area, I won't be long", Leroy said and without waiting for his fathers reply he headed back inside and he unlocked the front door and went outside, closing it after himself.
