She turned to look at me.

Her smile clearly visible from a mile away.

"Hey Luce."

"Hey Dragon Prince."

Natsu's POV

Okay now I was really sure my cheeks were glowing red.

"I remember." She added.

"What?" I got confused.

"When we were little? Everything we would do and play." She looked back out the window and I entered the room taking a seat on a chair next to her bed.

"Oh right! When we would image ourselves as kings and queens of our lands and silly things like that. I would call you my princess and you would call me your prince." I really like the idea of calling her princess to be honest..

 "Yeah but you also loved dragons so you just had to be a dragon prince." She giggled a bit.

What the hell am I thinking?! That's not how it was! But that's when I realized.

"Wait! So you got your memories back?! That's great!" I got a little to enthusiastic and gave her a surprise hug. I was about to let go but she happily returned it.

It felt like we where holding each other forever. She was so warm and yet kinda cold probably from just having surgery. Sadly we pulled apart to soon.

"Yeah I guess so. But they're coming in like, bits and parts." 

"It's a really good start though. And by the way, what did they do to you?"

"Oh, it was a Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery. It's when your coronary is blocked and to treat the problem, they give a new pathway to reach the muscle. During surgery, a vessel is removed or redirected from one area of the body and placed around the area of narrowing to "bypass" the blockages and restore blood flow to the heart muscle. These substitute blood vessels can come from your chest, legs, or arms. They're safe to use because there are other pathways that take blood to and from those tissues."

"..."

"They made another blood vessel go over the one that was clogged like a bridge to make the blood flow."

"Oh~, see now you're speaking English." I joked and that was when my mom came in with the doctor.

My mom took a seat and placed it next to mine.

"How are you doing sweetie?" She asked Lucy.

"I'm feeling better now aunt Grandeeney. Thanks for being here."

"Well miss Heartfilia, everything is going out well. Looks like you'll be able to leave on Sunday so you can go to school on Monday." The doctor said while flipping some pages from his clip board.

"Yay." Lucy responded with sarcasm.

"I'll let you all talk while I get some papers for you to fill out."

"Alright." Answered my mom. Once he left, she turned to look at the both of us with a serious face.

"Where's Wendy?" I asked curious about as to where my little sister is.

"She's talking to a little girl she just met named sherry."

"Oh." Was all I said.

"Lucy." My mother began. "I know that this is a hard time for you, but I want you to know that we are her to support you all the way." She gave he a kind smile and I nodded for reassurement. "So  I wanted to ask you if you wanted to stay with us for now?" 

Wait. Lucy staying with us?! Seeing her everyday! Talking to her everyday! And probably catching a glimpse at her adorable sleeping face! I was letting my mind run wild but quickly snapped back when Lucy spoke.

"Thanks for offering but, for now, I think I'm fine the way I am. But I'll keep that offer in mind." She gave her a bright smile.

Looks like she's finally relaxing a bit.

"And one last thing before we go. Capricorn called telling me that he wanted you to go to your fathers office next Saturday to fill out some last forms and things like that."

"But why would  he tell me so early?"

"He said that he wanted you to prepare yourself...mentally since it's your fathers office."

"Oh. Alright. When you can, tell him that day I will be going home first with Natsu and then we'll go to the office."

"W-What?!" I could feel a blush creeping up on my face but I tried to hide it the best I could.

"I know what kind of work my...dad had, it's a lot, I can't do it alone so you need to come." She said plainly.

"A-And why do we have to go to your house?"

Damn it stop stuttering!

"I can already imagine that his funeral will be exclusive so I at least wanted you there." My mind went blank. "Natsu?"

"What? Oh."

Don't let her notice you're actually really and extremely happy about this and play it cool.

"God Luce, you really caught me off guard there but sure, why not?"

Perfect!

"Stop trying to act cool Natsu." Interrupted Wendy at the door with a hand on her hip. "Lucy-nee!" She went rushing to her and gave her a huge hug. "I was so worried about you!" She snuggled into her chest.

"Sorry about that but as you can see, I'm all better now!" Lucy gave her a reassuring smile.

"Hey Wen, no one likes a clingy little girl." I joked. She scrunched her face annoyed with me.

"And people don't like boys with pink-hair." she countered.

"Its salmon! Sal-mon."

"Oh I'm sorry, I was wrong. Its baby pink!"

"Like  your one to talk Ms. Blue hair!"

"At least my hair doesn't affect my brain like you Mr. Does the milk go first or the cereal?" I was bout to continue but we were interrupted by Lucy's chuckle.

Then she started laughing and I couldn't contain my own laughter anymore and soon my mom and Wendy joined in making it a laughing spree for all of us! Lucy and I already had tears collecting at the corners of our eye's. 

I'm glade to see her happy, It's been a while since I'v seen her smile...seeing her like this reminds me why I fell for her in the first place...
