Chapter 1
Cheryl, Kimberley, Nicola and Sarah have just arrived in LA and are in a car on their way to Nadine’s house. They can’t wait to see the Irish girl. 2 Weeks being away from each other feels like a lifetime to the girls. When the 4 girls met up at the airport they were like screaming school girls chatting and hugging excitedly. After travelling a while in the car, it pulls up to some gates. The driver presses the buzzer and speaks into the intercom, a few seconds later the gates open and the car starts to move. Once the car has stopped outside of the house all the girls jump out and run up to Nadine who is stood outside waiting for them.
“Hey!” Nadine says whilst being wrapped in a group hug “How was the flight?”
“Was alright” Sarah says happily “Missed you Nadz!”
All the girls pull out of the hug and stand in a circle with big grins on their faces
“You guys coming in?” Nadine says turning and walking into her house. The 4 girls follow behind with big grins.
“What’s planned for tonight then?” Sarah says walking into the living room and sitting on the settee.
“Thought you lot would want to chill out here and have a few drinks” Nadine replies sitting opposite Sarah
“Good idea” Kimberley says walking in and sitting next to Nadine “Be good to get over this jet lag”
“I’m surprised Sarah hasn’t raided your alcohol fridge yet” Cheryl laughs sitting down next to Sarah and ruffling her hair.
“You make me sound like an alcoholic” Sarah says nudging Cheryl with her elbow “But since none of you are getting the alcohol it looks like I will have to do it” She says getting up. Just as she walks to the living room the Nicola comes through with 2 bottles of champagne and 5 glasses on a tray.
“Little help” She says trying to balance everything
“Look who’s the alcy now” Sarah laughs taking the tray of glasses off the girl and walking back into the room placing the tray onto the table in the middle.
Nicola follows behind, opens the champagne and pours it into all the glasses. She passes everyone a glass and sits in between Cheryl and Sarah on the settee.
“I’m so glad you guys are here” Nadine says smiling
“We are too” Kimberley says wrapping her arm around the girl and giving her a quick hug.
“Too us” Cheryl says raising her glass
“And the future” Sarah says pushing her glass forward
“And the after life” Nicola chirps in clinking her glass with the rest of the girls
“The after life?” Sarah laughs “You just keep getting weirder and weirder”
“It sounded good in my head ok” Nicola pouts
Laughing Cheryl nudges the younger girl “It was lovely babe”
“What are we doing tomorrow?” Kimberley asks turning to Nadine
“Whatever you guys want. I haven’t planned anything” Nadine replies looking at Cheryl “What do you guys want to do?”
Seeing Nadine looking at her, Cheryl smiles at her and continues looking into the Irish girls eyes. Nadine eventually looks away when she hears Sarah’s voice.
“Beach day” Sarah says excitedly
“Defiantly” Cheryl says smiling catching Nadine’s eye “I need to work on my tan”
Gulping Nadine gets a mental image of Cheryl in a bikini “Good, glad that’s sorted then”
“As for tonight, lets get p!ssed” Sarah says downing her glass and topping it up
Laughing Nicola does the same and holds her glass out to Sarah waiting for the blonde to top it up
Nadine feels a bit nervous about the way Cheryl is looking at her. It reminds her off the day Cheryl confessed her feelings for her.
2 months ago…
“Nadine can we talk” Cheryl says as all the girls are walking down the hall away from the room they just had a meeting in
Stopping and turning to look at Cheryl Nadine smiles “Sure babe. Are you ok?”
“I’m fine” Cheryl says nervously walking into an empty room holding the door open for Nadine to enter.
“What’s up?” Nadine asks confused
Shutting the door Cheryl sits down and waits for Nadine to sit next to her. She turns to face the Irish girl and takes a deep breath
“Cheryl?”
“I’m in love with you” Cheryl says looking directly into Nadine’s eyes “I have been for a while now”
Nadine just sits there in shock taking in what she has just heard.
Cheryl sits there looking directly into Nadine’s eyes. “Say something”
“Cheryl” Nadine begins “I’m flattered”
“But..” Cheryl says smiling sadly
“I’m not gay”
“Nadine, come on” Nicola says standing in front of the Irish girl waiting for her to stand up
“Huh?” Nadine says coming out of her thoughts
“We’re going out to your garden” Nicola says walking off leaving Nadine
“Are you ok?”
Standing up and turning round Nadine sees Cheryl standing at the door “I’m fine”
“Come on” Cheryl says walking off in the direction Nicola walked off in
Nadine follows slowly behind Cheryl. Once she’s out in the garden she sees Sarah and Nicola sat next to each other at a table giggling together. Kimberley and Cheryl are sat opposite them in deep conversation. Nadine walks over to Kimberley and sits next to her “Lovely night”
“Yeah it is” Kim says turning to face Nadine “I’m so glad you invited us up here”
“Me too” The Irish girl smiles “I missed you guys”
“We missed you too” Cheryl says staring directly into Nadine’s eyes
Nadine smiles nervously at Cheryl then looks away quickly to see Sarah and Nicola drinking shots “When did you get the shots?”
“You’re not with it tonight are you Nadz” Sarah laughs pushing a shot over to the girl “We raided your cupboards”
All of the girls take a shot and down it together.
“Wooooooo” Nicola screams making Sarah laugh
“She’s getting worst then Sarah” Kimberley laughs
“I’ve been training her” Sarah winks
“Oh god” Cheryl laughs
A few hours later, Sarah and Nicola are still in competition on who can drink the most. Kimberley has gone to bed in the guest room and Cheryl is just about to turn in.
All 4 girls walk inside to the living room. Nicola and Sarah continue their drinking.
“You tired?” Nadine asks Cheryl seeing the girl yawn
“Yeah”
“Come on, I’ll show you to your room”
“Ok” Cheryl smiles following Nadine up the stairs
Once in the room, Cheryl walks over to the bed and falls onto it lying down on her back.
“Come here” Cheryl says seeing Nadine standing nervously by the door
Nadine walks over slowly and sits next to Cheryl. The Geordie sits up and takes Nadine’s hand “I’m not gonna pounce on you”
“I know”
“Then stop being so nervous around us” Cheryl says smiling gently
