Chapter 7
It’s coming to the end of the holiday and the girls are saying their goodbyes to Nadine. Cheryl and Nadine are hugging each other tightly never wanting to let go.
“I’ll miss you” Cheryl says with tears in her eyes
“I’ll be coming back in a couple of days” Nadine tries to cheer the girl up
“I don’t want to leave you”
“Then don’t” Nadine pulls out of the hug “Stay here until I go home”
“I can’t” Cheryl looks down sadly “I need to visit my family”
“I’ll miss you” Nadine pulls Cheryl into another hug
Cheryl smiles sadly and pulls out of the hug “I can’t wait to see you already” Cheryl leans forward and places a soft kiss on Nadine’s lips “I love you”
Nadine smiles brightly and wipes away her own tears then wipes Cheryls.
“Awwww you two are so cute together” Sarah comments as she watches the girls
Kimberley smiles and walks over to Nadine “Bye babe”
“See you in a couple of days” Nadine pulls Kim into a hug. A few minutes later the two girls feel some more pairs of arms around them. They open their eyes and see Nicola, Sarah and Cheryl have all joined in on the hug. A while later, the girls pull apart and smile at each other.
“Bye Nadz” Nicola says kissing the girl on the cheek and walking outside.
“Cya” Sarah does the same
“Miss you” Kim smiles and follows the blonde leaving Cheryl and Nadine alone
“I’ll phone you as soon as I get home ok”
“Ok” Nadine smiles sadly “Now get out of here before I hold you hostage” Nadine laughs taking Cheryl’s hand and leading her outside to the waiting car with the 3 other girls already in it. Once they get to the car Nadine presses a kiss on Cheryl’s lips “Bye babe”
“Bye” Cheryl smiles “Love you so much” She smiles and kisses Nadine one last time before getting into car and waving goodbye as they drive to the airport.
On the aeroplane back to London Cheryl is sat next to Kimberley. “I can’t wait to see her again”
“It’s only a couple of days babe”
“I know”
Kimberley takes Cheryl’s hand in her own “go visit your family then when you get back you’ll see her. Time with fly by”
“Hopefully” Cheryl huffs
“I’m so happy you’re both together” Kim smiles
“Me too” Cheryl looks at Kim “Took a bit of convincing though”
“It was worth it though right?”
“Yeah, I love her” Cheryl smiles
“And she loves you”
Suddenly Cheryl frowns.
“Babe what’s wrong?” Kim asks seeing Cheryl’s smile fade
“She hasn’t said she loves me yet”
“Maybe it’s too soon. You’ve both only just got together. She defiantly loves you” Kim tries to cheer Cheryl up
“Maybe”
“She does. She just needs some time” Kim smiles looking out of the window
“I hope you’re right”
“I’m always right”
It’s been 2 days and Cheryl has jus arrived at her flat in London after visiting her family for a couple of days. The girls are back to work early tomorrow morning.
She’s sat on her settee bored out of her mind so she gets her phone out and sends a quick text to Nadine.
Getting into a waiting car in London Nadine’s phone goes off. She gets it out of her pocket as she gets into a waiting car and reads the message.
‘Hey babe can’t wait to see you! Phone me when you arrive in London. Love you. Chez xxx’
Smiling Nadine takes her Garnet gem out of her pocket and holds it tightly in her hand. She’s been holding it all the time since Cheryl left to go home. It makes her feel closer to the girl. She dials Cheryl’s number and waits for the Geordie to answer.
“Hey babe” Cheryl says down the phone
“Hey, I’m on my way to yours. Are you home?”
“Yeah. I can’t wait to see you babe, I miss you so much”
“Me too” Nadine smiles holding her gem even tighter “I should be there in about 15 minutes”
“Ok, I’ll see you in a bit, love you”
“Ok see you babe” Nadine puts the phone down and smiles sadly. She hasn’t told Cheryl she loves her yet. She’s not even sure she does love the girl. They’ve only been together a little while. Maybe seeing Cheryl again will make her realise her feelings for the Geordie.
Arriving at Cheryl’s flat, Nadine gets out of the car and gets her case out. She walks up to the door and presses the buzzer waiting for a reply.
“Hello?”
“Hey babe it’s me”
“Come on up” Cheryl says buzzing the girl in
Nadine walks inside and up the stairs. She walks into Cheryl’s open door and closes it behind herself. She walks into the kitchen and sees Cheryl smiling widely at her. The Geordie runs up to her and pulls her into a big bear hug “I’ve missed you so much” Cheryl says crying slightly
“I’ve missed you too” Nadine says pulling apart and wiping Cheryl’s eyes “Don’t cry babe”
“Happy tears” Cheryl says leaning forward and placing a gentle kiss onto Nadine’s lips “I love you” She says pulling the Irish’s girls head closer to hers and kisses her passionately putting her tongue into her mouth. After a few minutes of kissing the girls pull apart to catch their breath “I missed doing that” Cheryl winks and places one last kiss on Nadine’s lips.
“How was your family?” Nadine asks walking into the living room and sitting on the settee
“They’re good” Cheryl replies and sits next to Nadine “Can’t wait to get back to work”
“Me neither. Just think we will be touring later on this year”
“Now that’s gonna be fun” Cheryl winks “Although we may have to ask for a double bed on the tour bus”
Nadine smiles and kisses Cheryl gently “The other girls will get jealous”
“I don’t care” Cheryl smiles “As long as I can share a bed with you every night I’ll be happy. Are you staying here tonight?”
“I can if you want me to” Nadine smiles
“I want you to” Cheryl pulls Nadine into a hug “I missed you so much I don’t want you to leave me”
Pulling out of the hug Nadine smiles “I’m shattered”
“Come on lets go to bed. Got an early start tomorrow”
Nadine and Cheryl walk into Cheryl’s bedroom. Cheryl gets her pyjamas out whilst Nadine walks into the bathroom to get changed into her own. Walking back into the room Nadine sees Cheryl under the covers. “You look comfy”
“I’ll be comfier when you’re in here with me babe. Now hurry up” Cheryl winks
Nadine walks over to the bed and gets in beside Cheryl. She snuggles into the Geordie’s warmth.
“Love you babe” Cheryl whispers placing a kiss on the younger girls head.
“Night babe” Nadine kisses Cheryl’s neck and falls to sleep.
