So basically this is the "sequel" to The Hardest Part Of This Is Leaving You (set in 2008) and is set in the time after Gee and Frank have gotten married (so basically this is set in 2012 - Lemon Gee!) -Lila xxx

Ever since he and Frank had gotten married, Gerard had always said things like"if we had a kid.." or "if I ever have a kid then I would love to have a daughter." He had been stuck on this topic for almost four years now and so very desperately wanted a daughter. It bothered Frank that he wasn't doing anything to help out his love-struck husband. It was April 1st and leading up to Gee's 35th birthday. Frank knew exactly what to get him or, rather, who. Something that he had wanted for years. So just a week before Gee's birthday on April 1st, Frank took a secret trip to the adoption agency...
Finally, it was Gee's birthday. He had received gifts from everyone! A Stratocaster from Mikey, a signed copy of the first ever design of Luke Skywalker from his parents, two tickets to Vegas from Frank's family and a personal recording studio all to himself from the band and their manager. So he had received gifts from everyone... everyone but Frank...
"So, Frank, what did you get for Gerard?" Donna quizzed.
"Mom, don't be--" Gee was cut off.
"More like who," Frank smiled.
"Okay Frank let me explain one again: guitars don't count as people."Gee sighed. Frank then heard a knock on the front door."There she is!"
"Guitars don't have genders either, Frank." Gee called as Frank ran to the door and opened it. A little girl was stood in front of him, looking up at him with so much hope in her round, hazel eyes. She was wearing a pastel purple dress and a white bow was tied around the ends of both of her light brown plaits, short ringlets of hair that had fallen out of her plaits surrounded her porcelain face. "Ruby..." Frank said quietly, almost a whisper.Gee walked into the hallway, "Frankie, what the fu--" he froze, wide eyed, then a huge grin spread across his face.
"Is this my new home?" The little girl asked.
"Sure is," Frank smiled at Gerard.
"I love you, Frankie! I love you, I love you, I love y--"
"Okay," Frank laughed.
"This has been one of the most amazing days of my entire life." Gee said, lifting Ruby up. "We're your parents but you can call us Gee and Frank," he said to her before kissing her gently on the cheek.
