Allison's POV
"There's Kinsley!" I exclaimed to River who was staring at her. "Woah why are you staring?"
"I'm not." River quickly answered nervously like he had been caught doing something he shouldn't.
"Yeah okay. Just remember. YOU HAVE A GIRLFRIEND!" I screamed.
His girlfriend. Sarena. I despise her. She causes so much drama and leaves me out of everything. She's so clingy. River can barely stand it. I don't know why he doesn't just break up with her already. He should. He's genuinely unhappy with her. I'm suprised she hasn't came to us and been all over him yet.
"I need everyone to pay attention!" Screamed Mr.Prince as River nudged me hard in the side getting my attention.

After Mr.Prince finished his boringly long speech about band camp and all that we went into drum section.
River had been put on tenors. I had been put on bass drum but they didn't have enough so I was stuck on cymbals which really sucks.

Kinsley's POV
Oh gosh. I can't do this. I have no friends. I don't know anyone. I feel like everyone's staring at me.
I'm quickly brought back into focus by Sharla hitting me on "accident" with her flute. Sure. It's an accident. I'm not so sure I like Sharla. As we play through our music I can quickly tell that she is a horrible flute player.
I instantly feel relieved. Then I feel guilty about it. I have this thing where I have to be the best. I'm a major perfectionist and it'll drive me crazy until I'm the best.

Sarena's POV
Omg. I haven't seen River yet. I wonder when I can. He's the most amazing person in the world. I love him so much.
"Hey focus back there and stop zoning out!!"screamed the gayest little fag 10th grader I know and hate ,Cole. Everyone hates him.
Maybe I should focus on my music though.
"3rds! Pick up the pace!!!" Screamed Jared one of our section leaders.
Yes I'm a 3rd but that's only because I'm a rookie.
"Why don't you shut the hell up?" Mumbled Rick under his breath and his best friend Emma giggled.
Emma and Rick are the most disrespectful people I have ever met. They don't listen or practice. They have horrible attitudes. Emma is a slut and Rick is 100% in the closet. He's soooooo gay.
Maybe I can sit by River during break. Then my mind started drifting off into River land again.
