Kinsley's POV
School was a blur. I'm starting to like it I guess. I miss my friends and how things used to be at Hay. This is my new life now? I guess I'll just have to get over it.
*time skip to the 3rd week of school*
THE 1ST FOOTBALL GAME IS TOMORROW! I'm so excited! I've always wanted to march! Now I am!
I walk out of school heading down to the band room for practice.
I check my phone to see how much time I have until practice starts.
It's 3:09 pm. I've got about 20 minutes to do whatever.
I still don't have many friends. I hang out with Allison when I can but I don't have many classes with her.
As I walked into the band room and turned the corner I see River and Sarena in the corner. They look really suspicious. Like they're doing something they're not supposed to. As I got a little closer I saw they were hugging. She seemed into it but he seemed like he was absolutely dreading it. They were blocking the door so I couldn't get the door so I kinda sat there staring. I probably look like a creeper.
Then he pulled away noticing I was there.
"Oh hey Kinsley. How long were you there" River said nervously
"Only a couple of seconds. I just legit got here so don't think I was staring like a creep" I said hoping I didn't sound stupid
"Don't te-" Sarena said before I cut her off
"I'm not telling my dad duh I'm not like that" I said forcing myself not to roll my eyes because it annoys me when people think all I do is tell my parents everything and the fact that they were hugging.
I'm jealous. Wow. I'm not the jealous type I don't think. Well,apparently I am.
"I was only waiting here because you were blocking the door." I said giving up on trying not to roll my eyes and walking off fairly annoyed.
"Kins-"River shouted hoping to get my attention but I was already gone. I tried to take my mind off of it and I found Allison.
"Hey" Allison said in an annoyed voice
"Hey you're annoyed too?" I said as I took the seat next to her.
"Yeah. What're you annoyed about?" She said looking over at River who was in another deep embrace with Sarena
"River and Sarena." I said my temper rising as I even thought about it.
"You too?" Said Allison as she rolled her eyes.

Okay so I think this chapter is kinda pointless but you know. Let's forget about that whole updating on Friday thing because that's not going to happen😂
