It was 5th grade. I met a guy named Brian, adorable fellow, chocolate hair in a rat tail, dark brown eyes. Hell, I've daydreamed next to him about him!
It was a week before the school's Valentine's Dance, and since he liked Pokémon, I was going to make a poster for him with Ash and Misty hugging in front of a sunset, with the cheesiest danceprosal EVER!
"You've caught them all, the broken pieces of my heart. Will you go to the Valentine's Dance with me bro (At the time my uncle had died)?"
I was asking him as a FRIEND because I didn't want to confess my feelings to him in order not to ruin our group friendship. The day after I finished the poster, he said he was going with, we'll call her "Aaliyah," who so happened to be my BEST FRIEND! Since both Brian and Jason(the other guy in our Morning News Club) liked Pokémon, I used the poster for him. And guess what? JASON WAS BRIAN'S BEST FRIEND!!!!! We basically just hung out at the Valentine's Dance, literally! Aaliyah, Brian, Jason, and I just sat by the punch bowl and ate candy! It was amazing!
Then I transfered and I called all my friends over(Aaliyah, Brian, Jason, Fernando, and Louis) and gave them a hug(Fun Fact- I taught Fernando how to speak English)!
