Tip 1 - Get a good night's sleep!

For some, this may mean going to bed at 2 AM. For some, it means going to bed at 10 PM! Just sleep, no Pokémon trainer wants to miss their first day catching all those monsters!

Tip 2 - Eat breakfast!

No trainer wants to start their day off hungry! Eat that cereal!

Tip 3 - Dress like a trainer!

You don't wanna catch Pokémon in your old cat shirt and a pair of basketball shorts! Dress like a trainer! Be prepared with a baseball hat and sneakers. Sandals, heels, dresses, and skirts are NOT allowed on your journey to catch 'em all!

Tip 4 - The rules of catching Pokémon!

Be aware of the catching screen. If your circle is green, it's an easy catch. If it's yellow, it's still easy. Orange and red circles means you have a hard catch. Throw your PokéBall when the circle is at the smallest level, that increases your chances of catching it!

Tip 5 - PokéStops!

PokéStops are real-world monuments or sculptures. These regenerate after 5 minutes, and adding a "Lure Module," will allow more Pokémon to go to that PokéStop, and it lasts 30 minutes. PokéStops give many items like PokéBalls or Eggs. To collect items from the PokéStop, spin the coin once the square turns into a PokéBall.

Tip 6 - How to hatch 'em Eggs!

To hatch your eggs, you need to walk a certain amount of kilometers. You also need to put your egg in an Incubator, which you are provided at the start that lasts forever. Some eggs need 2 km to hatch, some need 5 km to hatch, and I think some need 10 km to hatch.

Tip 7 - Teams!

There are 3 teams: Blue, Red, and Yellow. I am personally going to sign up for the Red team once I get near a Gym again. But once you sign up for a team, you can fight at Gyms! To join a team, enter a Gym at Level 5(I am Level 7). Fighting at a Gym your team has claimed means you can train, but fighting a Gym that a different team has taken over means that you're trying to take over that Gym.

Tip 8 - Be Alert!

Remember. DON'T GO OUT AT NIGHT ALONE! I don't want ANYONE to get hurt, kidnapped, or killed playing this game. Even though they will happen thanks to the "Lure Module," you can still be safe!

Tip 9 - Your Supplies!

It's summer, be prepared! Always take some water, snacks, sunglasses, sunscreen, extra chargers, etc. Be prepared, and when you get a notification saying to charge your phone, FIND A PAVILION WITH A PHONE CHARGER! ALWAYS let someone know when you're going out. When you start to charge your phone, call someone and ask them to pick you up.

Tip 10 - When to stop!

Remember, if you're a Pokémon trainer between the ages of 5-18, DON'T STAY OUT AT NIGHT! When the Sun is going down, that's okay. But if it's pitch black, GO HOME! You're not trying to get kidnapped or killed. This is advice.
