Mixed Signals

I just don't understand,
What you're trying to demand,
Or where my feelings will land,
If we'll end up holding hands.

You make me confused every time,
I don't think I can make the climb,
Surely, my love will manifest from thine,
If only you'd make your feelings shine.

I'm tired of assuming what it might be,
What's real and not, I can't see,
When one moment, your everything is me,
But the next, you don't even notice my plea.

I'm not even assured anymore,
If one day, my feelings will be no more,
But my mind's already sore,
Thinking if you'll love me forevermore.
