Once Victoria had muffled her sobs to a minimum she noticed the presence of a figure, a small scream erupted from her throat. She took a few steps away, her heart beating at it's normal phase again. Her eyes slowly catching glimpses of the hooded figure that stood close to her.

“when did you get here?” Victoria could of sworn she had been alone when she was talking to Travis.

“That is not important, child but listen carefully” Victoria nodded, not having a choice her eyes kept at the figure, such power radiated from the figure, leaving her to shiver. Her hands unknowingly wrapping around herself a she tried to calm her shivers, that seem to grow violent by the minute.

“I shell grant your wish, child” The voice snapped Victoria out of her thoughts and in to new ones.

“what w-wish? I made no wish” She panted.

“you make have not spoken the word but your mind did”

“w-what?” Victoria stuttered completely confused, grant her wish? Yeah like she could swish a wand and all she's wanted would come true.

“Your necklace has the power to grant a wish and although you have not spoken the words, child I know what you desire, but once it's done it's done, so are you sure?”

Victoria stared at the figure dumbfounded. Was this some type of joke? She lazily nodded.

“whatever” she might as well play along with this dumb joke. Just as the word escaped her mouth, she instantly regretted it, something didn't seem right. Something bug was going to happen, her stomach knotted.

“your have everything friends, family and love it's sad that the only person who doesn't see that it you” the dark, hooded figure was gone with those words, disappearing in to thin air. A scream ripped threw the air and it took a moment to realize that it was indeed Victoria's. Her feet planted firmly to the ground, her heart pounding and her mind desperately trying to search for answers. Her shivers becoming more violent by the minute. The room started spinning, black dots filling her vision as one question and one question alone raced through her head.

What the hell had she gotten herself into?

****

Where the hell is she?

Victoria sat up slowly, her head pounding as she tried to find the answer to her question. Her legs dragged her down a flight of stairs, her ears ears cried in disagreement hearing the hissing downstairs. Her mind recognizing the voice while her heart couldn't, Her mother and father were yelling at each other, but her mother never yelled at anyone much less her mate. Her pulse picked up, as a million questions filled her mind.

“Mother?” cold eyes snapped her direction, her mother eyes were so blank, so uncaring like all her feeling had been ripped from her.

“what are you doing downstairs? Get dressed, you bitch your going to be late for school!” Victoria's mouth feel open as the words stumbled out of her mother's mouth. Good god, this was not her mother, the person that stood in front of her was not her mother, couldn't be. Her mother had always been nice and caring, but the women that stood in front of her was cold, cruel, uncaring.

“well do you need some sort of invitation, get your ass upstairs before you miss the bus” the smell of alcohol filled the air, as her father spoke. Her eye's traveled to the floor confirming her suspicions, broken alcohol bottle lay at the ground some shattered other not. Her parents had been drinking? But they never liked drinking.

“well get ready, you have school to go to and than your job at that stupid coffee shop” Victoria flinched away from the cold tone.

“w-w-what job? I work?”
