Chapter 3

Danni's P.O.V

Laura's mam collected her from Starbucks as they needed to go somewhere. ''I had fun today'' Daniel smiled, breaking the silence as we walked home. ''Yeah me too, we should do it again'' I smiled. I kept thinking about what Laura said earlier at Starbucks while Daniel was getting our drinks, we're just friends, I mean I only know him a day, I cant have a crush on him already. Could I? I thought. ''Danni?'' Daniel said, clicking his fingers in front of me. ''Huh, what?'' I said. ''You spaced out'' Daniel laughed. ''Sorry, just thinking about something'' I smiled, we were now sitting on the steps on my house. ''What were you thinking about?'' Daniel laughed. ''Nothing really, just thinking about my friends back in Ireland'' I lied. ''It must be really hard, I seen how happy you were talking to your friend earlier'' Daniel said, sympathetically. ''Ive known them all nearly my whole life, well I know Laura my whole life, they're like my brothers and sisters'' I said, a tear rolling down my cheek thinking off all the memories my friends and I had together. Daniel must've noticed because he wiped the falling tears away. ''I'm sure you had a lot of great memories with your friends back in Ireland, but hopefully we can make some more memories here in London'' Daniel smiled. ''Thanks Daniel, I may only know you a day but I already trust you with my life'' I smiled. Daniel moved closer and wrapped his arm around my shoulder, pulling me into a hug. ''Same here Danni, whats your number actually?'' Daniel said. We swapped numbers and talked for a bit longer.

I laid in my bed, thinking more about today. I couldn't like Daniel, could I? I only know him like a day and a half. I can't imagine Daniel and I ever becoming a couple anyway. I was listening to Ed Sheeran's album '+'  I heard my phone vibrate on my bedside table signalling I have a message. I picked it up, thinking it was one of my friends back in Ireland.

You awake? - Daniel :)

I laughed and looked out my window too see Daniel dancing like a - well I actually have no idea what he looked like. It was kinda like monkey with 2 left feet...?

I laughed as I hit send, changing the song to 'The Parting Glass' I checked my facebook, nothing really intresting, I checked my notifications to see Chloe tagged me in a status with Laura and Daniel added 3 photos with me. I checked Chloes post first to see she wrote a big paragraph and added of me, her and Laura from when we were children to the party we had the day before Laura and I moved to London. Daniel text me back.

You seen? Oh my god... I knew I forgot to do something haha - Daniel :)

I laughed and changed the song, I went over and changed my pyjama shorts and a tank top and climbed back into bed, texting Daniel back.

I went back on facebook and checked the photos Daniel tagged me in. I saved them and put my phone on charge when it buzzed again.

Okay :( Night! See you tomorrow  - Daniel :)

I smiled and put my phone on charge again, turned the lamp off and fell asleep. Today was a great laugh.
