Deaf Love [Boyxboy]

Chapter 1

I swung back fourth with my feet on the swing. It was warm out, the breeze made it very relaxing.

I glared around the park. The sand under my feet went inside my shoes. I took off my shoes & let the sand slide back to where it was.

The park was pretty much empty, besides some kids with their parents playing on the slide.

It got darker, as the day went by. I glanced at the skate park & saw a few skaters.

I turned around to being taped on my shoulder. A black haired guy sat on a swing next to me.

"Hey." He waved his hand at me.

I gave him a weird look, and scanned his really beautiful blue eyes. I blushed a little.

"Uh, hello?"

I looked down at my hands. That's just it, I can't talk or hear.

Im deaf.

"Are you okay?"

I raised my hands up & started using sign language. He looked at me puzzled.

This is why I don't have any friends. No one understands me.

"Your deaf?"

"Oh." He shuffled around in his pocket & pulled out a phone.

He shoved it in my face. Understandingly, I grabbed it and went to text messages. I started typing.

'I'm deaf, so I can't talk, Sorry :('

I handed the phone back & he read it carefully studying every letter.

He look up at me with a saddened look, and texted something and handed it to me.

'I just wanted to talk to you but I guess that'll never happen.

I'm Bryce by the way.'

I read it and smiled at him.

'I'm Jaxon.'

'Nice name. So why are you here all by yourself?'

I looked away and shifted in on swing, making the chains clank together.

'I dunno.' Bryce looked at me. I lied, I had no one to hang with is why.

'Oh.. okay. Haha. Well it's getting late Jaxon I should get home.'

I scowled when I read it.

'Ok' Bryce raised his eyebrow.

'Are you staying? I nod.

'Why?' Bryce asked a lot of questions.

'Because..'

'Hah, you don't have to tell me.

Do you have a phone?' He smiled at me & laughed a bit. I didn't hear him sadly. I would never his laughter.

Just nothingness for the rest of my useless life.

'Yea..'

He wants my number? Why? I'm just a stupid deaf kid with no friends.

'What is it? Just use your fingers & I'll put it on my contacts list.'

I lifted both my hands and put up a 2 with my index finger and middle finger and the rest of my number.

'Thanks Jaxon.' He shoved his phone about 5 inches from my face so I could read it.

I'm deaf! Not blind.

I nod.

Bryce turned & made his way to the path that lead to the sidewalk and park. But he stopped; making the sand underneath his feet spread around him.

Bryce turned towards me and grabbed his phone again.

'Uhm.. Jaxon could you walk with me?' He looked a bit nervous when he texted it.

My face went red. Now he wants to walk with me! Things can't get any weirder.

'Sure' I gave him back his phone and twisted my arms out of the swing and stood up.

He was way taller then I was. It made feel like I was in middle school.

I walked over to him and we walked down the path. The park now was dark and empty, which made us all alone.

I don't even know him, but yet he wants me to hang out with him. This must be a joke.

It was quiet, obviously for me. I can't hear anything! He didn't say anything, not that it would matter.

We made our way to the sidewalk and across a street that my house was on.

I looked over at him and blushed. I just wanted to hold his hand. He was so cute.

He had really gorgeous eyes & soft looking hair.

I smiled still looking at him from side.I got closer to him.

'Jaxon? Haha' Bryce rammed his phone in front of me, laughing at me

I scooted away from him. He noticed! Ugh I'm such a dork.

I blushed at the thought.

I hardly know him though. I hope we become friends.

I kept at a pace so I could catch up to him. He walked faster then I did. I didn't want to be behind.

The moon light beamed against his bright skin making him look so hot.

I couldn't help but stare, again.

No Jaxon!

His straight black hair cover his eye half way, and blue eyes lighter shade of baby blue.

My face went red. I have to stop blushing.

I distracted myself and looked at the cars passing by us, the lights blinding me.

I paused and looked around the neighborhood. My house was across from me.

I scanned my green, freshly cut grass.

'You live here?' I nodded when I looked at his phone.

I proceeded to my house, when a Bryce grabs my wrist.

'Sorry I'll see you later Jaxon. Or whenever I see you again.'

I smirked.

I put up a peace sign with my hand.

'Bye :)

I walked towards my front door and went into my house.

I tilted my head and quickly waved at Bryce.

Bryce waved back.

I looked around to see if anyone was home.

I didn't see anyone. Maybe their asleep.

I turned on the light so I could see better. I walked up stairs holding onto the railing.

My room was upstairs along with my brother, Alex.

I roamed around the hall & stepped into my all ready opened room. I ran and jumped on my bed, burying my face into my pillow. I dozed off.
