Chapter 2

I felt too pairs of hands on me. I quickly shook it off and turned away

I was being shacked. I open my eyes, rubbing them on the back of my hands to wake up the sleep out of my eyes.

My eyes adjusted in the light and saw Alex was a above me.

Alex opened my curtains in my window.

Ahh! The sun glistened throughout my room and on my face. I clenched my hands over my eyes to cover the brightness of the sun.

I soon lifted my body off my bed and sat on the edge of my bed.

Alex lifted my head up and started using sigh language.

'Wake up, time for school idiot!'

Alex smirked at me and ran out my room.

Alex has to wake me up everyday, unless I wake up by myself because they can't just yell at me and be all "Wake up Jaxon!"

'Whatever' The warm sun made me comfortable I could sit here all day.

I groaned and got up from my bed, into my bathroom that I have in my room. I jumped in the shower and washed up.

I wrapped my towel around my waist and looked around in my closet for something to wear.

Oh! A pair of skinny jeans and orange Hollister shirt.

Hollister was my favorite place to shop. Their clothes were just so soft, it's like fluffing clouds. Hehe.

I put on my clothes, brushed my white, straight teeth and headed downstairs.

The smell of bacon and waffles attracted me. I waltz into the kitchen, gliding on the tile floor swiftly. Wee!

'Hey Mom' I gave her a few signs.

Mom smiled at me returned the greeting. Mom handed me a plate of food and orange juice.

'Mmm! Looks good' I smiled widely and sat next to my brother, who was sitting at the table.

'Jaxon, where we'er you last night?' Alex gave me an odd look.

'None of your business' I dug into my food trying to ignore anything else Alex would ask.

My mom is the best cook ever. I loved her cooking.

'Fine'

Alex started talking to mom about something I couldn't hear. That's a reason why I wish I could hear, so I would know what people would say.

It's a better advantage for people to talk about you right in front of you and you wouldn't even hear it.

It sucked so much. I ate the rest of my food.

Everyone in my family knew sign language, they had to learn it so they could communicate with me.

I'm the only one who's deaf too, which also sucks.

I have no deaf friends or know anyone that is deaf at that. It's so hard being deaf. Hearing people could be so rude to me.. and I can't do a thing about it.

I could talk but wouldn't pronounce anything right and end up sounding really stupid which gives hearing people another reason to talk about me.

I began to get sad about that. I stopped eating and got up to throw away my food.

'Jaxon you ready?' Alex grabbed his backpack as I did the same.

I nodded and placed my backpack around my body.
