Shining Armor [Naruto Fanfic]

prologue

A pastel pink haired woman stared sadly at the wedding band in her palm then the signed divorce papers on the bedside. Beside those papers was her wedding picture that they took on their wedding which took place just a year ago.

"It's the right thing. He already chose his job over me. I'm probably holding him back. I'll have to let him go. He made this clear already." She reassured herself and wiped away the tears on her cheeks.

She stood up and with a heavy heart put the wedding band on the divorce papers and took her suitcase, she packed last night.

As she left, she left a longing glance at the face smiling with her at the picture. She walked outside and saw the taxi waiting and sat down in it.

"Where to, ma'am?" The driver asked.

"Airport."

****** 9 months later *******

"Ahhhhhh!!!" A heavily pregnant woman screamed.

"You can do it! Push!"

"I...am....doing....it...alreadAHHH!"

"Almost there. I can see a head. Push!"

"Unngggh! Huf..huff..huff..."

"It's a girl!"

"Sakura..." the newly mother whispered and passed out with the exhaustion.
