A Monster Within

Chapter 1

Angleic syndrome. A rare 'curse' put on a hazel eyed innocent girl. Tifa. She had this ever since she was born. Her worst fear was that the darkness taken over her and to release her cooped wings inside of her. She was afraid of hurting the people most important to her. Mostly Cloud. She loved him ever since they were kids but was afraid to express her feelings to him leading to the fact he'd might reject her. So, she kept it a secret. Cloud was deeply in love with Tifa but has the same feelings as her.

Tifa's Pov:

I saw Cloud where the explosion was on top of the Shinra building.

'Cloud!!'

It felt like a knife pierced through my heart. Will this be the end? Will I see Cloud again?.... I make my way to Arieth's church where Cloud's body was found in the water floating peacefully. The orphans surrounded him to awaken him. His eyes pierced open and got up with kids cheering and splashing the cold clear water that surrounded them.

I breathed a sigh of relief and thanked Gaia that he was still alive. His eyes locked with mine and I gave him a cheesy smile as if to say 'I told you so' or 'everthing is now alright'.

Cloud's Pov:

I remembered that smile. The smile I fell in love with. I have to say it. If I don't, I'm gonna lose my mind and I will miss my chance. I walk slowly up to Tifa and cupped her face. She blushed.

I pulled her towards me and placed my lips softly on hers. It was sweet. Just like in my dreams. My dream come true. As she tried to break the kiss to say something, I roughly planted my lips again on hers and whispered 'let me have this moment.' She nodded and we continued.

I pulled back and we both blushed and giggled. 'I love you' I say as my eyes seemed to be mesmerised with her chocolate eyes. 'I love you too' she said giving me a peck on the cheek.

We stood there and hugged each other until we heard loud cheering from the kids and AVALANCHE. We both blushed and turned around.

'About time!' Said Vincent giving Cloud and Tifa a pat on the back.

We returned to the bar and put the kids to bed. I heard Tifa knock on my door as I was about to get dressed.

'Ummm.... Cloud?

'What is it Tifa?

'Ummm, c-can I s-sleep with y-you?'

I was shocked. My eyes widen. I wanted this so bad. I didn't think she would be up for it just yet but I was glad. I gave her a simple nod and we both put the blanket over us. I slithered my arms around her waist as she buried her head on my chest. We slept through the night hugging each other till dawn. Not wanting to let go. Why didn't I do this before. This is what I should've done a long time ago. But I'm happy that I finally got to do it.
