Chapter 3

Normal Pov:

Silence filled the atmosphere making Tifa's eyes widen and Cloud's squinting in anger.

''What?.....'' Tifa's eyes began to blur with tears. She'd knew for sure he had found out about our curse.... The angelic curse.

''Do you want me to explain? I'm sure Cloud already knows'' Sephiroth said giving a glare in Cloud's direction. ''Well you see here Cloud, your precious lover has been cursed ever since she was born. She is one of us. But not for long. You see, I'm going to take her blood, every last drop, even if it kills her and use it for my own need. I will become powerful then I ever been and nothing will stop me!'' He said snapping his fingers commanding his men to get Tifa.

They surrounded her and put her in chains around her wrists which tightened causing her to squeal in pain. ''CLOUD!!'' Said Tifa as she pulled her hands out to reach him but it was impossible.

''TIFA!!!'' Yelled Cloud, as it was to late. Tifa vanished into thin air with Sephiroth. ''...Tifa...Tifa...'' He collapsed on his knees, whispering her name. Panicking at the thought that Tifa will die. No, he won't let that happen. He had to save her... And fast.

He jumped back onto his Fenrir and whizzed through the roads making his way back to the bar where he found the whole of AVALANCHE there.

Cloud's pov:

I saw everyone at the bar. Perfect timing I thought. I parked my Fenrir and walked to them. Barred rushed towards me and shouted '' where's Tifa''
I stood there in silence with my head facing my feet. A single tear fell down my cheek.

''oh no, don't tell me she's-'' Barret said as I soon interrupted him.

''No, but she will be. I won't let that happen. She's been kidnapped by.... Sephiroth'' I said clenching my fist.

''WHAT!! I THOUGHT YOU KILLED THAT SON OF A BITCH!!'' Said Barret as he stepped closer to me losing his temper.

''That's what I thought'' I said still facing the floor.

''Where did they take her!''

''I dunno, but I have a slight idea of where they might be..... His lair''

''Yeah you maybe right. How could he do this! Why did he take her!'' Said Barret as his face looked like he wanted to punch someone. I hoped it wasn't gonna be me.

I knew the answer to that. I had to tell them otherwise the reason to kidnap Tifa would be odd is there wasn't one. I'm sorry Tifa, I have to tell them.

''She suffers with a rare curse called the Angelic syndrome. She had it ever since she was born. She's the last of her kind. I knew about this when she told me about it when we were kids. I promised to her that I wouldn't tell anyone but it seems that I have broken it. Sephiroth is going to take all her blood and use it for himself to make him powerful and rule over Nielbiem''

Their eyes widened and were speechless until Barret broke the silence.

''Well whatever that is, Tifa is still Tifa. She had protected us all, now we are gonna do the same for her.'' He said putting a hand on my shoulder as if to say we will get her back. I nodded in reply.

I felted a tug on my cape and looked down and found Marlene almost in tears. I bent down a gave her a pat on the head.

''Please save her Cloud'' cried Marlene as she rubbed her eyes.

''I will Marlene. Safe and sound. I promise'' I said as I stood up and watched Marlene run back to Denzel.

The whole of AVALANCHE and me rode off to Sephiroth's lair. Memories of me and Tifa as kids up until now flashed before my eyes.

''I will save you....Tifa....''
