Normani rolled around the exam room on the small seat provided for her. Her wife watched her in barely hidden annoyance as she raised an eyebrow.

"Mani, we've been in here a million times and yet every time you always insist on rolling around on that thing."

"What? It's fun." At the look Ally gave her, Normani stopped once she reached the exam table where she sat and gave her an innocent smile to which Ally replied with an eye roll, that she happily returned. Hormones.

The two women stayed silent as they waited for the doctor to come into the room for the six month check up. Normani breathed out through her nose as she ran her eyes over the cork board full of pictures of infants.

"Seriously, breathe louder Mani! That's great!"

Normani turned to her with narrowed eyes, having had enough. "Y'know we should probably ask the doctor if she even knows how to deliver a baby that's half human and half pure evil!"

Ally was about to respond to her idiotic wife when her obstetrician, the same obstetrician who had delivered Amelia and Harper and cared for Camila through the pregnancies. She quickly plastered on a smile as she walked through the door.

"Hi Dr. Borden, how are you?"

Normani scoffed quietly and leaned in close to speak only to her, "Oh, you're nice to her."

Ally turned and glared heatedly at her, hissing. "She has the drugs!"

Dr. Borden rolled up Ally's dress shirt to beneath her breasts a while later, preparing the monitor and wand herself.

"Let's get on with it, please?" Ally asked. Normani apologized to the doctor but the older woman was unaffected, gaining her revenge a moment later when Ally jumped at the cold gel being spread over her abdomen.

Dr. Borden smirked, Ally glared, and Normani cupped a hand over her mouth to smother her laugh.

The process went on in silence, and the doctor stopped for a moment, leaning closer to study the screen. Normani's hold on her wife's hand tightened and Ally looked concerned, her free hand coming up to protectively hover over her stomach.

"Dr. Borden? Is something wrong?"

The woman hummed thoughtfully, moving the wand to another position before she turned back to the fretting couple. "No, nothing's wrong. In fact, something's very good. Congratulations. It seems that we missed it before, but I think you're having twins."

The loud string of expletives Ally let out at the news nearly drowned out the sound of Normani colliding with the floor, as her eyes rolled back and she fainted flat out.

Instead of going straight home like she had planned, Camila decided to instead spend the afternoon alone with her daughter. They currently sat together in Pinkberry, sharing a large cup of pomegranate froyo, topped with cheesecake bits, strawberries, bananas and mangoes.

If Harper had to be honest, she missed this. Yes, she spent a lot of time with her mother but her sister was always there. Even though she loved her baby sister with all her heart she missed her alone time with her mama.

Camila placed her spoon down and smiled at the nine year old. She smiled brightly back at her, her big curls that she recently freed from her braid covering her eyes. Camila laughed as she pushed it back in annoyance. "Oh baby. You need a haircut,"

Harper frowned at the thought, shaking her head quickly. Her mop of curls shook with her. "No, I hate cutting my hair."

"Well I'm sorry but your hair has been getting into your eyes a lot. You need one."
