Klaus fumbled with the lock on the door, almost chanting it to open. Whatever he did, it worked and he was in. klaus searched the room, but for some reason, he couldn't find her. Klaus noticed that the window in the attic was open and had a bad feeling in his stomach. He looked out the window to see footprints imprinted in the mud. He noticed attached to the curtains of the window, there was a note. Klaus read it and was shocked, but pretend nothing ever happened.

    Dearest Klaus,
If you are reading this note, then you will have known I am not here anymore. With the help of Bartholomule, I have escaped this dread-hole of a home. I wasn't happy and I think you could have known the day I wrote this letter. I haven't met you yet, but I will soon. I was already told about you and have already planned where I'll go. Sadly, when I do meet you, I have a feeling you will be my favourite hello and my hardest goodbye. I promise we will meet up again and I have a feeling it will be quite soon. No, I am not dead, just starting a new life in a new town. Please forgive me for I will not give you a proper goodbye. However, I hate goodbyes so I'd rather say until we meet again. Be strong, be kind, and don't let this affect you. If anything, pretend I never existed and forget about me. But still remember the promise of meeting you again someday.
                Forever in your heart,
                            Kiera
