After I was done talking to that girl about this morning, I took the notes we were doing in class and tried to pay attention, but I couldn't I keep thinking about how that guys even found me. I don't remember getting a notification about him following me or anything. But then again I'm barely on instagram anymore. I kind of like that fact that I have a mystery guy. I haven't really loved anyone else since me and Devon broke up. He was my everything for the first 3 years of my high school career. We did everything together, planned our future together. I even lost my virginity to him. He was and still is my first love.
While I was in my daydream I feel my phone go off in my back pocket and I take it out confused as to who could be texting me and see its my mystery man. I unlock my phone and go onto my DMs
Mystery man: hey beautiful
Me: hello mystery man
Mystery man: whyd you call me that?
Me: because you are a mystery man, I don't know anything about you and here you are texting me calling me beautiful and I dint even know your name
Mystery man: well beautiful do you want to know my name, or would you rather call me mystery man?
Me: I think I would like to know you're name..
Mystery man: okay well my name is Rowan beautiful. What's yours? Or would you rather me call you beautiful instead of whatever your name is?
Me: Omg that's an amazing name. I've always thought of naming my future son Rowan. And my name is Nia, but you can call me whatever you'd like.
Rowan: well I like to call you beautiful, but you're name is gorgeous just like you. And thanks maybe we can name our kid that ;) but I have to go back to work now my breaks over unfortunately. :( but I'll text you when I get off beautiful.
Me: awhh poo :( but okay talk to you then handsome
After we stopped texting it was last period, and of course I have the last class of the day with devon. I walk into class with my headphones in and ask to go to the bathroom and meet up with Emma and we walk around.
"Hey you okay you don't look like yourself today" She asks stopping me in the middle of my hallway.
" I don't know em I feel weird like I don't know how to explain it. Like I feel happy but upset at the same time. I have no idea what's going on em" I look at her and feel like I'm about to start crying.
As we walk back to class so we aren't late she looks at me and says " well whatever is going on you can talk to me. Whenever you need me I'll be here. I promise."
" Thanks babe, I'll probably explain everything to you after we drop off devon and we get to my house." I say to her walking her to her room
" I'm gonna go in class but I'll text you okay?" She says stopped outside her room
" Okay babygirl" I say and walk to class since it's across the hall and the first thing I see is devon in my seat. I walk over to him giving him the look I used to give him when I was about to cry and needed him to go away. He got up and sat in his seat next to me.
" what's wrong I know that look" he says when the bell rings for class to start
" just a lot on my mind fuck boy" I say getting my folder out of my bag.
" I'm here if you need me I know we aren't together anymore but I'm still here to talk ni" he says and puts his hand on my thigh. I moved his hand and attempted to pay attention to the teacher, but I couldn't get my mind of Rowan. I still want to know how he found me. I still know nothing about him. Should I talk to Emma about this? I mean she is my best friend, after all.
The teacher says that we have about 5 minutes left of class and I look down at my paper and there is nothing written on it at all. I put my paper in my folder and put my folder away and get my keys and phone out and see I have a instagram notification and mentally remind myself to check it when I get home and put it in my back pocket and remind devon to be outside at 2:45 or I'm leaving without him and he nods his head.
The bell brings and I walk over to meet Emma so we can walk to my car together. When we get to my car I unlock the doors and we get in I look at her and say "You know you have to get out to let devon get in the back right?
She groans and says " Why can't he just get in on your side?"
I roll my eyes and look at her and say because I'm the driver and it's my car" and we laugh and she agrees and we see him and she gets out and let's him in and I start the car and plug my phone in so we can have bumping music while we burnout of this bitch. When everyone gets in and has their seat belt on I pull out and get on the road to where I have to drop devon off and I see him trying to grab my phone I slam on the breaks so he hits his head and he notices me looking at him and stops.
Emma looks at me like I'm stupid and all I do is nod back to devon and she nods her head. I stop at McDonald's and get me and Emma something and ask of he wants anything and he says what he wants and we get it and I drop him off and turn the music up more and start screaming to the music. When we get to my house I leave everything in my car from school except my phone necessities and lock my car.
