Chapter V

Emma's POV

I woke up before Nia so I got in the shower so I could start getting ready for school. When I got out of the shower, I went to go do my hair and I heard Nia's phone going off like crazy. I laughed figuring it was probably Rowan. I couldn't imagine it being Devon. If it was he was probably asking for something. I figured I better wake her up so she doesn't miss the breakfast her mom was making downstairs.

I walk over to her and shake her arms "Nia. NIA. WAKE THE FUCK UP!!!"

She jumps up and laughs because I scared her. I laugh and finish my hair as she gets ready, surprising she hasn't checked her phone yet. I walk downstairs after I'm done getting ready to eat breakfast.

Nia's POV

After Emma rudely woke me up, I got in the shower so I could get ready for the hell hole we call school.

When I got out of the shower I walked to my room to check my phone to see if my handsome Rowan texted me and I saw that Emma had went downstairs. I unlocked my phone and saw that I had 10 texts from Asshole (Devon), and 3 texts from Rowan.

Asshole: hey

Asshole: you awake?

Asshole: okay well obviously not..

Asshole: I just had a question that I need to ask you..

Asshole: but I know how grouchy you can get if someone wakes you up..

Asshole: do you think you could do me a favor..?

Asshole: well that is if your coming to school today at least..

Asshole: and if Emma agrees to it..

Asshole: okay I'm just stalling now..

Asshole: will you pick me up today before and after school, I have no one else and mom won't let me take my car.. she says I'm grounded..?

Rowan♡: good morning beautiful

Rowan♡: I hope you slept good. I can't wait till you wake up so I can talk to your beautiful self.

Rowan♡: I had a dream about you last night :)

When I was finally done ready all the texts I decided I should probably respond to them.

~Nia and assholes conversation~

Me: why does it have to be me? Why can't your brother drive you on his way to work? He works right beside school.. but yeah I'll pick you up. When you get in the car I swear to god you ruin my good mood and I'll kick you out of my car. I'm not playing around anymore.

Asshole: thank you so much Nia. I can't repay you enough. And he left early for work. He carpooled with someone from work. Idk, I woke up and he was gone. Mom told me. And I won't ruin it. I'm not that much of an asshole Nia.

Me: well see about that. Just be outside at 650.

~ Nia and Rowan's conversation~

Me: good morning handsome, I slept okay. Didn't really sleep much though, I couldn't stop thinking about you. And what was your dream?

Rowan♡: awh I'm sorry you didn't sleep much you need your sleep for school. And in my dream yiu came over to my house and I made you dinner and we watched movies and fell asleep cuddling on my couch.

Me: awhh that would be great right now. I would love to do that. And I'm went to school without sleeping I should be okay. Thank you for caring about me.

I sent him a text and decided I should go eat and tell Emma about picking up Devon. I walk downstairs and say hi to my mom and eat the breakfast she made for us. I look at Emma and sigh.

"What's wrong?" She says while answering her text

" Devon texted me and said that he had no one else to pick him up before and after school and drop him off at his house, so he asked if I would and I told him I would." I rolled my eyes putting my dishes in the dishwasher and grabbing all my necessities and my book bag.

"You're doing the right thing. Are we leaving now?" She says watching me

" Yeah we have to so we can pick him up. BYE MOMMY I LOVE YOU SEE YOU AFTER SCHOOL!" I yell while we walk put the door. We get in the car and I start it, and put music on. We buckle up and I have her text him and say that we're on our way. I start driving and everything leaves my brain and I just focus on my favorite song and well of course driving.
