Insta-Date

Chapter III

AUTHORS NOTE!:  I KNOW THAT I MESSED UP IN THE LAST CHAPTER! IM SORRY.  OKAY NOW BACK TO THE STORY!

Nia's POV:

When we got in the house I saw my dad sitting at the island reading the paper from this morning and drinking his coffee. My dad works third shift so while I'm sleeping he's working. I don't really see him that often so anytime I get the chance to hug him I do. I walk over quietly and hug him, and kiss his cheek. 

"Hey baby girl, you okay?" He says whilst giving me a bear hug.

"Yeah, I'm okay. Just really stressed today, and don't know why." I say after were done hugging me 

" Well, I'm always here to talk if need someone baby girl" He says looking at me 

" I know daddy, have a good day at work, I love you, Me and Emma have a lot of stuff due tomorrow for school so were going up to my room." I say looking at him and then Emma 

" I will baby, I love you too Nia, talk to you tomorrow" He says looking back at his paper and coffee

I walk over to the fridge and get two bottles of water and walk upstairs with Emma following. We walk in my room and she goes to her usual spot on my bean bag beside my dog. Figures, she only comes over to see my dog most of time anyway. I shake my head and she laughs at me. I walk over to my bed and pull out my phone and check the Instagram notification. 

Rowan: hey beautiful

Me: Hey handsome

Rowan: How was school? 

Me: Ehh.. Not bad but not good

Rowan: What happened?? Talk to me, I'm here for you. 

Me: I don't know, I just have a lot on my mind. I can't keep my mind off of you. And I don't know I'm just worried about a lot to be completely honest. 

I send that text and put my phone down and look at Emma. She looks at me and says " Whats wrong? I can see in your face something is wrong so tell me. Don't lie to me. "

" Promise you won't tell my parents? " I say and look at my phone

She sighs and says " How many times do I have to tell you I'm not going to tell them? I'm your best friend I'm not gonna snitch on you."

I look at her and then look at my phone again and say " Okay well today I got a DM from a random guy..and I accepted it"

She looks at my dog to make sure he's okay and then looks at me again and says " Okay that's not bad.. whats wrong with that?"

I look at her and say " Well, 1 hes 19, and 2 hes REALLY hot.."

She rolls her eyes and says " Still not seeing whats wrong with that.. if hes hot then go for him.. you need to get over Devon anyway."

I hear my phone go off for like the fifth time and say " Yeah I know I do, but I might try to meet up with him later for dinner will you go on a double date with me, with your boyfriend???"

She laughs and takes her phone out and calls Dylan, her boyfriend and tells him not to plan anything for dinner that they are going on a double date with me and Rowan. He says fine and asks what time were picking him up and I tell her to say that shell text him when were on our way. 

I check my phone 

Rowan: If it helps I can't keep my mind off you either.. I need to see you.

Rowan: Beautiful??

Rowan: Did i say something to make you mad?? 

Rowan: And you can tell me whatever you're worried about princess, Ill always be here for you..

Rowan: Okay now I'm worried I did something to upset you..

Me: No handsome you didn't, I was talking to my best friend about something.. and we were thinking about going on a double date tonight.. would you be interested in that? I can pick you up if you don't have a way there..

Rowan: I would LOVE too.. and no I can meet you there because i assume you have to drive your best friend and her boyfriend??

Me: Yeah I do but it's no that big a of deal if I pick you up.. I have room in my car.

Rowan: How about this, give me her boyfriends Instagram and I'll text him and tell him that I'm picking him up so you only have to drive his girlfriend??

Me: Yes that helps a lot.. here is his Instagram, herman519

Rowan: Okay I just messaged him, I'm gonna leave you go get ready I'll text you when we decide on a place.

Me: Okay handsome ill see you later

I look at Emma and say "Let's go we got to go get beautiful sexy" 

She laughs and get up and walks downstairs. I pick an outfit out (image at the top) and put it on a hanger and grab my makeup and hair products. I tell mom that we wont be here for dinner and get my keys and phone necessities. I give my mom a kiss and she asks " Why you getting ready to look so cute?"

I laugh as I walk to the door and say "Nothing I'm just going a date with my best friend tonight and wanna look cute for her" and wink at Emma. Emma laughs and walks out the door, 

"Bye mom! Love you!" We yell as we get in the car

I start the car and put the outfit and makeup in my backseat and buckle my belt whilst Emma hooks up my phone for the music. We pull out and she asks " Where are even going for dinner?" 

I turn off my road and get on the highway to go to Emma's house and say " I have no idea he said he would text me when they figure out a place." She nods her head and turns the music up as we turn on her road. 

When we get to her house I get out and get the stuff out of the back and walk in the house like it's my own and hug her mom. She hugs me back and then I walk upstairs and get dressed whilst Emma gets a shower. She gets out the shower and gets dressed, then walks over to start doing my hair. When shes done my hair I do what she wants done to her hair, then we both start on doing our make up. In the middle of doing my makeup I hear my phone go off and I check it to see I  have a Instagram notification. 

Rowan: We decided on Olive Garden beautiful, is that okay?

Me: Of course it is! I don't care where we go, I just want to see you handsome.

Rowan: Okay well if you ladies are almost done we will be leaving in about 20 minutes to head there?

Me: Yeah that's fine we'll be leaving about then, she done I'm almost done getting ready.

Rowan: Would you like me to wait for you in the parking lot or would you like me to get our table ready?

Me: You can get our table ready if you would like. 

Rowan: Okay, ill see you soon beautiful

Me: You too handsome

Whilst I was texting Emma finished my makeup and we got our purses and went out to my car and set up the music and everything then buckled up and before we knew it we were there.
