Chapter IV

Nia's POV

I turned the car off and looked at Emma and said "I'm scared Em, what if he doesn't like me in person?"

She looked at me serious and said "How could he not like you? Your perfect." I laughed at her and got out of my car and walked around to her side and waited for her.

When we walked inside the guy that was seating people asked if we he a reservation and I told him it might be under the name Rowan, after he looked at his paper he walked to us and looked at me and said "Right this way Mrs. Atwood."

I looked at Emma and raised my eyebrow, all she did was laugh. He walked us to our table and that's when I saw him. He was perfect. He had muscles, and perfectly styled hair, and he was in a tux. He looked just as nervous as I'm sure I did. Dylan, Emma's boyfriend saw us and stood up. When Rowan saw Dylan stand up he looked over at us and stood up as well.

When we got to the table, I couldn't stop looking at him. He pulled out my chair and I sat down.

"Thank you." I said looking at him as he sat down.

"Your welcome beautiful" he said smiling at me.

Our waiter came to take our drinks and Rowan order some wine for us. I couldn't stop looking at him. I was mesmerized by him. He looked at me once he figured out what he was getting to eat and said "Have you stopped looking at me since you sat down?"

I blushed and said " No, but I can't help it. Your so perfect." He laughed and grabbed my hand

"You're the most beautiful person in this entire world. I'm so glad you suggested we go to dinner." He says and kissed the top of my hand. I still couldn't understand why he picked me.

Our waiter came back with our wine and Rowan poured me a glass and handed it to me. I took a sip of it and looked at Rowan.

"That's really good. You made a good choice handsome." I said while looking at him

"I know I did, have you seen yourself. I made an excellent choice." He said kissing the top of my hand.

The waiter once again came back and asked if we were ready to order, Rowan look at us and asked if we were ready and we all ordered.

-Skipping to after dinner-

After we were done we all walked up to go pay for dinner and when I tried to pay for me and Emma both Dylan and Rowan jumped in front of me and argued who was going to pay. I turned around and looked at Emma and laughed. Once our meals were paid for Rowan and Dylan took our hands and walked us outside. Rowan was looking around to see if he could spot my car, once he failed he looked at me and said "Which car is yours?"

I laughed and lead him towards my camaro. when we finally got to my car he couldn't stop staring at it. I laughed and put my hand on his face and said "Earth to space cadet." Trying to get his attention. He looked at me serious and said "This is your car?"

I laughed and took out my keys and pushed the button to start it, and said "Yes this is mine. Isn't she pretty?"

"Yes I've always wanted one!" He says looking at it. I smile and say "Yeah I always did too, my dad works for the government so he bought it for me for my 18th birthday. " I grab his hand and look in his eyes and say. "I had a good time with you tonight. I'm glad you messaged me. You've changed my life completely even if I've just met you. " I smile and look down at my heels.

"You've completely changed my life around Nia. It's like I found my entire world." He says and puts a finger under my chin and looks in my eyes. " I had a great time with you too Nia, but you need to go it's getting late and I don't want to get into an accident or anything. Text me when you get home beautiful."

I hug him and he opens my door and I get in sitting next to Emma. Rowan closes my door and walks away with Dylan. I look at Emma with the biggest smile on my face. And she laughs as I turn my music on full blast and scream the words, full of joy. We get on the road to my house and I turn the music down and say' "Okay so what'd you think?"

She laughs and says " He seems like he really likes you. Dylan said that the whole time him and Rowan were together he wouldn't stop asking about you, and he was really nervous. You guys seem perfect together."

I blush and say "Oh trust me I was WAY more nervous than him. And are you staying at my house? You still have a lot of cute clothes there for school tomorrow."

She rolls her window down and says "Yeah I'll text mom when we get home and let her know. " I nod and pull onto my road.

When we get inside my house my mom is already in bed and dad is at work so we go upstairs and get ready for bed. I text Rowan while Emma's in the shower.

Me: hey handsome, I made it home safe.

Rowan: okay beautiful that's good so did I. So tell me what you think of me.

Me: I think your absolutely perfect. There's nothing about you I wouldn't change. I like the way your nose crinkles when you laugh at my stupid jokes. I love the way you stare at me when you think I'm not paying attention, but I really am. Your just perfect in every single way.

Rowan: awh beautiful that's the most amazing thing anyone has ever said to me.

Me: well its the way I feel. So what do you think meee?

Rowan: you, are just the most beautiful person in the world. When you talk to Emma you do this thing where you put your bottom lip over your top one and you concentrate. It's the cutest thing ever. I like how when you talk to me you stare into my eyes and you focus directly on me. I like how you checked me out every chance you got.

Me: well I couldn't help but check you out, your sexy as hell. But I'm gonna go shower and go to bed handsome. 5:30 comes quickly.

Rowan: okay beautiful good night sweet dreams. I'll text you in the morning. Sleep good.

Me: okay handsome goodnight sleep good sweet dreams, talk to you in the morning.

I got my shower, got dressed for bed and plugged my phone in. When I got in bed, Emma was already asleep. But I couldn't sleep, Rowan was the only thing on my mind. Sleep didn't matter now.
