LAter on in the story.....

Cody's POV

We got back to the hotel and Ariana was in tears, though trying not to show it. What set her off like this? Was it the fans? It was a random gun shot, it was probably just some wacko in the streets. We've heard those before what was different about this one?

"Ariana, what's wrong? What h-?"

"Just leave me be." She unlocked her hotel room door and went in and sat on her bed, covering her face in her hands.

"What happened? I need to know so I can help you." I told her.

"It's too much! I can't! Just leave!" She yelled. I stepped back a bit at her yelling. Never in my life have I heard her yell like this. Something was seriously bothering her. Her phone was grasped tightly in her hand as she trembled.

"I'll leave when you tell me what's wrong and once I find out how to help you." I said quietly, sitting next to her. her phone blinked and I got a glimpse of it before Ari hid it.

Demi: Ari, you have to tell him. It's getting to the point wh...

"Tell me what?" I asked. She didn't answer. "Ariana, you are hiding something from me. Why? What is it?" She shook her head slowly but I wouldn't leave until she told me. "I'm not leaving until you tell me." Still no answer.

I tried to put together what was going on. All we did was walk outside the restaurant and to our car. We were driven to our hotel and started to walk in. There were fans, then the ones who call themselves fans but they really aren't. Both combined, shouted good and bad stuff at us, but Ari had never been affected by any of that before. Also, a random gun shot that caused Ari to freak and break down completely.

Answers could be on her twitter. I stood up and logged into her twitter. We didn't keep our passwords secret from each other.

She had thousands of notifications, and I scrolled through them, completely shocked at the stuff I saw. Whole pages full of hate for Ari, people sending her nasty death threats, including,

Confirmation of the gunshot.

Some person out there threatened my girl with a gun, confirmed they did it, and Ari hasn't been telling me any of this? Why?

I looked at Ari who was still in the same position. I put down my phone and went over to her.

"Why have you kept this from me Ari? How long has this been going on?" I asked quietly, trying to hold back my own hurt that she didn't tell me any of this.

"Couple months." She cried. I took a deep breath and hesitated in whether I should continue or not. I turned to her again and asked,

"Why? Why did you keep this from me? Why didn't you tell me?"

"Because I didn't want you to become worried and-."

"Would you blame me if I did?! Ari this is serious!" I exclaimed.

"I can't take this any longer!" She answered.

"Is this why every time we go out in public, you're a bit hesitant?" I asked. Ari nodded slowly. "I'll deal with this Ari, don't worry."

"I'm done! I cant handle the fame, the fans, the threats, anything! It's putting both of us in danger and I can't keep going with that!" She finally lifted her head as I shook mine.

"Look, I'm gonna fix this. Don't worry."

"No, I'm done." She answered quickly, and I saw it pained her to say this.

"Done? What do you mean? What about-?"

"I'm done with everything! Tour, the fame..." She struggled to continue, but finished saying, "us."

I couldn't believe what she just said. This was it. Ari was done, she had put up with this long enough. She didn't want to continue anything. Anything.

"It really hurts me to say that but, I can't keep going if this could endanger both of us."

"You won't have to, I'm going to handle t-."

"Do you think they'll stop if you tell them to? I wish that were the way of it, but it's not."

"Ari, please don't. Don't just abandon everything we-." I started to tear up now.

"I have to. I'm sorry, but we're done." She told me quietly.

"What am I supposed to do with tour?" I asked.

"Tell everyone that Ariana Bolton quit and won't be touring with you guys anymore. I'm sure they'll be thrilled to hear that." She got up and asked me to leave.

"I can fix this, just-."

"Cody no one can." She cried. "I don't want to do this either, but if it's endangering you, I'll do it." A tear finally left my eye when she said this. "Please go."

"Ari-"

"Just go. The sooner, the better we will both be." She turned away from me as I just stood there, in unbearable pain. I just lost my girlfriend, and I'm not able to do anything about it. I had to force myself to leave.

I went to my own room and just couldn't contain anything. I threw my phone across the room and just sat on my bed. My hands ran through my hair as I tried not to cry. Crying would only make this harder for me.

I got my phone back and opened up my twitter, tweeting,

@Cody_Mason: Thanks a lot everyone. Thanks to some of you, Ari is done. She's done with everything. Tour, fame, me, everything. Anyone who sent her threats or hate doesn't deserve to call themselves fans! It's not only hurt Ari, but it's hurt me, harder than you can ever imagine. That is what you have accomplished. I lost one very precious thing to me because of you! Happy now?!

Ethan came in followed by Devin and Owen.

"Everything alright, Cody?"

"She's done." I choked out. "She's done with everything."
