(A/N: **IF YOU WANNA FEEL BETTER AFTER LUBBOCK'S DEATH, READ. IF NOT, PLEASE DON'T. THE QUALITY OF THIS PREQUEL WILL DESTROY EVERYTHING I'VE WRITTEN UP TILL THIS ONE.**

Since you guys wanted a sequel so badly, here you go. I apologise if the sequel is bad, I didn't really think about it. This is what you guys requested, so here.)

A month after Lubbock's passing, [Y/N] decided to visit her old house. She decided to move house because her old house had too many things that could be related to her father. And at that time, she just wanted to forget about him. To lock him away in her memories. But after she had to face the deja vu of Genic's death, [Y/N] decided to face her fear and go look at her house. Also for memories sake.

Since her old house was literally in the middle of a forest, because her parents were nature freaks, [Y/N] wasn't too shocked when the house looked exactly the same as before. Yes, there were still some furniture, and others that remained. [Y/N] moved house all by herself, she couldn't take everything  with her. Especially because the whole reason she moved was to forget her father. So she only took the necessary, and left behind the rest. Exactly how she sees it now years later.

When she stepped into the old house, the first thing she saw was the giant family picture on the wall. Her mom, her father, and [Y/N] in the middle. [Y/N] was an only child, and her mother died only 3 years after her birth, so it was only Genic and herself left. "Wow, i'm like riding some nostalgic roller coaster." [Y/N] softly said. As she stepped further into the house, she spotted small little marks on the wall. "Ah, that's right. Father always measured my height every half a year. Hehe, I grew quite a bit, haven't I?" She chuckled as she continued walking threw her house of memories.

The whole place was filled with remnants of the past-- the things her father bought, some of their furniture, pots and pans, and surely enough, the things Lubbock brought to [Y/N] back in the days. As a trademark/memory, [Y/N] decided to leave some of the things Lubbock brought behind. All the things he brought over were all inside this huge closet. When [Y/N] opened it, a few of them dropped out.

"Did he really give me this much?" She kneeled down to pick the things up. One of them was a small, green teddy bear. "Ah, this one. I was feeling extremely that time. Then he somehow knew and gave it to me. Hahaha, what a perv." She set aside the teddy bear and rummaged threw the rest. Toys, books, paintings, a few clothes, and many more were inside the closet. To be honest, another reason a lot of things were left behind was because of the lack of space in her current home, and that [Y/N] wanted to be independent and not rely on the things he gave. Plus, the books were already worn out and the clothes could no longer fit her.

But, there are a few things she did bring with her to her current house. For example, the green mirror. It was small, but it worked great in her favour. Anytime [Y/N] was feeling down, or lonely, she'd always look into the green mirror. And, like magic, all her sadness was absorbed by the mirror, leaving only happiness left.

Another thing she brought with her was this certain book called "RE: re". It was about an independent girl going through time warps because of some curse, meeting different versions of her boyfriend, and somehow being able to adapt to him in whatever situations. Yes, it was tough at times, especially due to the fact that the girl time warps to when they first met and she had to be able to get him to date her or else she can't move to the next dimension. That was one of Lubbock's favourite books, and it soon became [Y/N]'s. Other than those 2, just a few toys and stuff.

After going through all the things he gave, she moved on to the dusty drawing beside her bed. Inside were the notes he wrote to her. She kept them to always remind herself that there's always someone who's on your side. Who's gonna be there for you. Well, that was until a month ago. Now she's really on her own. Out in the world. As she re-read the notes, she came across a few of them that were really sweet:

I brought you these flowers because, well, I thought a pretty butterfly like you would love them.

And

The girl in the book really reminded me of you. She was pretty, strong, and cool.

And

If I was a killer, would you hate me? I would still love to talk to you even if you wanted to kill me.

The last one made [Y/N] suddenly feel like crying. She clearly remembered. That was the final note he sent to her before they stopped talking. It was indeed a sudden question, but now she gets why he said that. He probably never even intended to keep talking through notes to here even though she gave him her new address. Maybe he thought I already knew who he was. But then again, maybe not. "You knew from the very beginning, didn't ya? But, if you did, then..." [Y/N] sucked her tears back before putting all the notes back into her drawer. She closed the drawer for good and scanned her room once more before leaving.

But at the corner of her eye, she spotted something near the ledge of her window. There was something stuck to the inside ledge. It was a long note. And judging by how it looks, it was probably here years back. She gasped, realising whom it was from. [Y/N] hurriedly opened the note and silently read it:

If you're reading this right now, I'm assuming you've already conquered the nightmare of  losing your father. Not sure how long you took, but i'm really glad you're ok now. And, if you don't mind me saying, this is the last and final note i'm giving to you because after this, you'd never want me to write to you again.

You see, i'm actually an infamous killer. One who assassins people because of i'm apart of a rebellious group called Night Raid. And one of my job is to ensure that people don't harm us. Sadly, you're father was in the way so I... had to do my job. Are you shocked?

"Heh, not in the least." [Y/N] chuckled.

Well, now that you know, i'm pretty sure you're wondering why I even bothered sending notes to you. To be very honest, I didn't want to. You were the daughter of my enemy, so why should I? On the night you bumped into me, I wanted to kill you so your mouth would be shut, but your pathetic cries prevented me. When I returned to my group, I saw a small paper attached to your father. It was his final will. And you know what it was? He said something like: I wish for my daughter to never be alone. She's probably crying right now because of me. If anyone reads this, please don't leave my daughter all alone. She's a fragile little girl who isn't ready to spread her wings.

"Dad, I..." A small drop of tear rolled down her face.

Since I was a gentleman, I decided to try it for once. When you received the green mirror, and until the day you gave your first reply, I was there watching how you'd react. Would you even bother reading a note given by a stranger? I doubted. But you took it. You took the mirror and you gave the sweetest smile i've ever seen. I swear that could've made an angel weep. And, this may come as shocking but, that's the moment I started falling for you.

  "Wait...what?!"

If we ever meet again, i'll probably not feel the same for you. Yes, I fell in love with you, but I couldn't possibly betray my love for the leader of Night Raid. Even if I am still in love with you, I doubt i'll show it. So as a final message, probably the last you'll ever hear of me:

She gulped for a moment before continuing.

If we meet again, I hope that

And that was the end of it. The rest of the words were smudged all over, faded, or tore off. [Y/N] just stood there, her jaw dropped. It was very obvious that she couldn't believe that Lubbock had feelings for her. But sadly, he locked them away so he won't betray his eternal love to the leader of Night Raid. Wow, what a twist. Now that she knew the truth, her cheeks were tinted slightly pink knowing that Lubbock had feelings for her. And she did feel slightly nostalgic now knowing her father's final will. He really did care for her daughter.

She folded the paper into half before stashing it in her back pocket. She took a deep breath before leaving her room, locking it away for good. "No use crying over something that passed." [Y/N] whispered a good-bye, wiped away the small tear in her eye, and left the old house.
