Realization

"Isabelle?" I turned and looked around me, but I could not find anyone. I was sitting in the middle of a field of flowers. I could see my mother's house not far from me. I could smell her frying chicken and singing to make it rain by Ed Sheeren. I got up and ran to her, my mother was wonderful, I loved her so much. She has short brown hair and violet eyes. She was small and she walked as if she was walking on water.

I ran around behind the house and ran into the kitchen. Nobody was there. I called for my mother, I screamed her name. I jumped up off the cold wet ground, my chains rattling. Suddenly, there was a guard at my prison cell. "Master wants to see you." The guard was short, about my height, maybe an inch or two taller. He looked at me as if I was a appetizer.

"Where am I?" I asked with a shaky voice. I just wanted to go home. I was on the verge of tears when the guard yanked me up and start dragging me by my forearm. "You don't get to ask questions human. That is masters job." He said in disgust.

Master? He must have been the one that had me taken from my family. My family? My mother must be so worried about me. Thinking more of her and my father I couldn't help holding it in any longer. I let go of my sorrow and started crying. I was shaking so bad the guard had to pick me up and carry me the rest of the way.

We arrived at a large wooden door. This must be a castle. It was built like one. Strange, we don't have Kings and Queens where I am from. When we entered it looked like we were in a bedroom fit for a king! It was beautiful. It had holden swirls going across the ceiling. There was a big canopy king sized bed with black silk sheets with a black comforter on the bed surrounded by big black pillows.

I was looking all around my surroundings when finally, I looked at a large desk and spotted the one the guard called Master. He had broad shoulders, he was very tan and had gorgeous black hair. He looked up at me, and I couldn't help but look at the floor. Finally the guard spoke. "Here she is Master. As you requested." He bowed as the man he called Master said "Leave us." "Yes Master." The guard left.

He was a beautiful man. When he looked at me, I seen his eyes were very green. Like beautifully taken care of grass green. I felt his gaze on me suddenly and before I could look up he grabbed my face, making me stare into his eyes.

"What is your name, human?" I didn't understand why everyone kept calling me a human. Like they weren't? He looked at me as if growing impatient. "Isabelle." I said, trying not to let my voice crack. He let go of my face and went back to his desk.

"Take a seat, Isabelle." I looked over and found a chair not three feet away from him. There were no other seats in the room. I walked over, my hands still in chains and sat in the chair. He looked at me with a angry look on his face. "Welcome to Serta, home of Vampires. You will have your own room across the hall from mine, you are now and forever my servant. You will do as I say, if you choose not to, there will be consequences. If you run, you will be punished."

I could no longer hold back the tears I have been trying so hard to hold in. "Why are you doing this to me?" I yelled at him. Suddenly my back was against the wall and his hand was around my throat. "YOU DO NOT GET TO ASK QUESTIONS YOU FILTHY HUMAN." I was trying to breath, fighting against his gigantic hand. It was no use, he was too strong.

Finally he let go of me. I couldn't help but stay on the floor, trying to make the stars in my eyes go away while holding my throat, sobbing. "Alisha." The king said. A medium sized girl, with curly blonde hair walked in and stopped. "Take this filthy human to her room, and lock her door. Bring me the key." She hurried over to me and leaned down. "Yes, master."

She carried me over to my room and helped me to the bed. "Lighten up sweets, it's not that bad." Alisha was the first nice person I had come across since I've been in this hell hole. "How can you say that? Who was he? Why did he say welcome to this realm? I'm so confused and nobody will answer my questions!" She looked at me with a worried expression.

"If you don't be quiet Master will hear you, I will explain everything to you, but you have to calm down and keep your voice low." She looked at me as if she was pleading with me. I nodded my head, allowing her to explain to me what the hell was going on.

"First off, what is your name?" Alisha was whispering now, so I returned my answer with a whisper. "Isabelle." I sighed. She smiled, "well it's nice to meet you Isabelle, I'm Alisha." I nodded so she could continue.

"The man you met is Ezio Auditoré, he is the King of all the vampires. We are in his realm where all vampires coexist as one." I looked at her as if I was about to die from laughter. "Vampires aren't real." I said almost laughing. She looked at me very seriously. "Oh honey, they are very much real." She pulled her neck to the side, showing fang marks on the left side of her neck.

I looked at her neck with horror. "I have to get out of here Alisha!" She straightened her head and said as serious as she could. "There is no escaping this realm. You would have to have magic to be able to leave now." I stared at her in disbelief. "What about my family?" She stared at me, as if I had hit a nerve in her body. "You don't have a family anymore, King Ezio killed them." Before I knew it, everything turned black.
