*Ezio's Point Of View
"It's alright Isabelle, you can tell me what happened in your dreams." He looked curious. I gulped. There is no way this man will ever believe me. I sighed and looked in his dark eyes. "This one was very different. It wasn't the past I seen." I whispered, wanting the floor on the room to open up and swallow me. I looked at the floor and stared, as I spoke the rest.
"What I saw was the future. I know you will never believe a word I say, but so far my dreams haven't lied yet. I saw myself and you sitting on your bed, in this room with a gold crown on my head and you were beside me, with a matching golden crown, but bigger. We laughed together, we spoke of love, and we had so many speaks flying it was unreal. We made love that night." I was still staring at the floor, not sure if I wanted to see the look on his dark eyes. He touched my arm and it felt like little sparks of electricity shot through my skin, all the way to my bones.
He forced me to look at him. "It has been almost one hundred and seventy years since I was in love. I've done forgot what it was like to feel that emotion. The Elder witches say you will be my saviour. I have no idea how, but they say if you die, then I too will die." I was so confused. How could he die, just because I died? Did I have some sort of cool power? No, that was a foolish thought. I'm just a normal human. I had to go talk to this elder, without Ezio finding out. When Ezio left, I sat quietly in my bed, for hours. When I felt as if he was asleep, I stepped out and tip toed my way to Dorinda's room.
It was cold in the castle tonight. I could almost feel ice stabbing into my feet. I knocked on the door and Dorinda opened it. She stepped into the doorway and smiled. "Come in, child." She said politely. I walked into her cozy heated room and her eyes were white. It was an elder. "I know you have many questions, Isabelle." I nodded and sat across from her on the bed. "What are these visions I keep having of Ezio?" I asked the elder. "Past, present and future visions are basically telling you the right and wrong path in life. You are having these visions of Ezio, because you my dear, is Ezio soul mate. He doesn't believe so. Ezio, has had a very hard life and that is why his heart is like ice cold stone. The only person that can break that barrier, is you my dear." The elder smiled at me. I knew whomever this elder was would answer anything I needed to know.
"Why am I the only one? Ezio hates me, he wishes he could kill me." The elder frowned. "You are King Ezio soul mate, dear. If you can't thaw his heart then he is truly damned to be alone forever. Ezio is struggling with his demons because he feels for you. It may bot seem like it, but take it from someone whom is very close to his mother, Maria." My mouth dropped completely. This was impossible. His mother was dead! "His mother? How?" The elder smirked. "My dear, I am dead. I live with all dead supernatural beings on the dead realm we call, the other side. We can watch and the odds powerful enough, can channel living supernatural beings to speak to others, but only if we are witches. Which she is not. She had watched her son all these years and when he has been in trouble, she was always helping him from the other side, as was I." His mother has been cheering him on for hundreds of years, even though he hated her.
"Why did I have a vision of Ezio and I happy and in love?" The elders eyes grew huge. She was whispering as if talking to someone whom wasn't here with us. "What is it?" I asked her panicking. She looked at me with bug eyes and a smile on her face. "He is in love with you Isabelle." What! That's impossible! "That can't be true, he treats me so badly! There is no way he is in love with me. He hates me." The elder spoke. "I don't have a lot of energy left to try and convince you. Take his mother's word for it, ask Ezio. If he doesn't believe you, say to him these words. "In your darkest days, just know I will always watch over you." Just before I could ask what that meant the elder was gone and Dorinda fell on the floor.
I left and walked back to my room, when Ezio stepped in front of my door. "Where the hell have you been?" He was furious. "I went to see the elders." I confessed to him. His eyes were pitch black and I knew he was pissed. He grabbed my arm and he ran us into his bedroom, locking the door behind himself, and pushing me into a chair. "Tell me what that lying witch said." I then knew he wouldn't believe me.
