EMILY'S POV
"Daniel, that's crazy"! I exclaim.
"I know, but I'm telling you, that's what happened" he says.
"How do you suggest someone just flies to the ground"? I ask.
"I think it may have been Giselle" he says.
"Daniel, Giselle is dead. Remember! I saw her corpse" I say.
"I know, but I couldn't mistake that voice. It was Giselle's voice" he says.
"You were seeing things, Daniel. You of all people shouldn't be seeing things. You telling me this, certainly isn't helping any of us move on, which is what we need to do. That's why I'm here with Hunter. You need to go home and get some sleep" I say.
"Emily, I'm telling you-"
"No! Please go home" I say, and walk away. He's talking crazy talk. Giselle is dead, ghosts aren't real. He needs to move on.
I can't believe I postponed my meeting with Hunter, to hear Daniel's crazy story about Giselle.
Speaking of Giselle, I may as well go and see how her sister is. The last time I saw Clara was at Giselle's funeral.I pull up outside her house, and knock on the door. When I do, the door opens a bit.
May as well go in.
"Hello? I'm coming in" I shout, and close the door fully behind me.
"Clara"? I shout as I walk upstairs.
I see that her bedroom door is open a crack.
I push it open, and what I saw broke my heart...
