EMILY'S POV
I walk into Culture shock, after a pretty rough night.
I was kept up by nightmares and hallucinations.
I feel sorry for my parents. Most of the night, I woke up screaming. Every time one or both of them would run into my room to calm me down.I stand at the counter, and wait to be served a juice. I need some sugar to keep me awake.
"Hey" I hear. I look beside me to see Eldon.
Instantly my stomach knots up.
"We need to have a talk" he says.
"Please, I really don't want to" I whisper.
"Michelle told me everything. We need to have a talk", he says, firmly and grips my upper arm tightly.
"No, please, I won't tell anyone, just please leave me alone" I plead.
"No" he says, and starts to pull me.
"Please, go away. Please leave me alone" I cry.
"No, we nee-"
"HEY" I hear a voice shout.
Eldon and I both turn to see a boy, wearing grey tracks, a black singlet and a grey flat cap.
"She said she wants to be left alone, so go away" he says to Eldon.
"Look, you don't know what your talking about. Go away she's fine" Eldon spits.
"Are you ok"? He asks, directing it to me.
I shake my head.
"Leave" he threatens to Eldon.Eldon glares at me, then leaves.
"Hey, are you alright"? He asks.
"Yeah, thanks" I say, still a bit shaken up.
"Well, do you want me to hang around a little longer? You know, in case he comes back"? He asks.
"No, I'm ok, I was just about to leave anyway" I say.
"Ok, well, I just moved here, so if he annoys you again you can come to me" he says.
"Thanks" I say.We start to part ways. Shame I didn't manage to get his name.
"OH, BY THE WAY, MY NAME'S HUNTER" he yells, before leaving the juice bar.
Maybe not everyone in the world is a terrible person......
