Ch.2 Waking Up In a Whole New Way

I woke up but didn't open my eyes. I was comfortable and I didn't want to move. I rolled over and went back to sleep. Or so I thought. I opened my eyes and was falling to the floor. I closed my eyes again and braced for pain. But it never came. I fell through the floor and almost fell onto another floor.

"Woah, careful!!" A boy my age said. He had black hair and blue eyes. He caught me before I fell to the floor and sat me in a chair

"It will be a little hard to control your powers at first, but I can train you if you want?? Powering down might be a good place to start.... He said while making a mental check list

"Who are you?? Where am I?? And how did you catch me so fast??" I asked hurriedly

"My manners took a vacation...my name is Danny Fenton and I'm your neighbor. You're at my house since no one is at yours, your parents are still trying to heal from there otherworldly experience, and you were in my room and I was sitting in a chair and saw you phase through the floor and I phased too and caught you." He said while offering me orange juice which I gladly excepted and chugged down

"But how is all of this possible??" I asked hesitantly while wiping my mouth with a napkin

"Well...." He stood up and did something amazing

A ring of light went around his waist and then split into two and each separate ring went vertically in both directions and as that happened, he changed. His clothes were black and silver, on his chest was a D wrapped in a P, he had silver boots and silver gloves but they weren't girly. And lastly....he had snow white hair and glowing green eyes

"I'm the boy, the ghost boy, who helped you in the Ghost Zone...." He said. I had so many questions

"Wait...what do you mean my powers?? And what's a Ghost Zone??" I asked standing also

"Well....when you went through your parents Ghost Zone, you felt excruciating pain, I heard your screams and that's why I was there. But the pain you felt was the newly made Ghost Zone powering up. It was still very unstable but it's ok now....it changed your DNA like it did to mine. You're now half ghost...let me show you what you look like." He grabbed my hand gently and led me down a hall to a bathroom. He put me to stand in front of something but didn't turn on the lights

"I hope you're ready cause here it comes..." He turned on the lights

I gasped in surprise. I now had electric-blue long locks of hair with eyes to match and I was wearing something similar to Danny but I was in purple and black. It wasn't to different from my long black hair and hazel eyes

"I had that same reaction when I first got my powers" Danny said from beside me with a small smile

"So..we're half dead??" I asked with Bambi eyes as I turned to him. I was scared of what I was now

"Well technically....yes. The only other person like us is my uncle, Vlad Plasmius.....but that's a different story....crazy fruit loop....." He chuckled at the end. I smiled by his the atmosphere seemed to lighten

"This is so cool!!!!! What can we do?!?" I yelled

"Ha ha, well hang on. First, do you want me to teach you under any circumstances or consequences?? No matter what I have you do??" He asked me seriously

"Yes, I want you to be my teacher. I don't know the first thing about this, although it must of been hard for you...but you have your uncle so I guess it wasn't all bad...." I said. He frowned but then quickly smiled

"Ok, then. Second thing....what's your name??"

"Where are my manners, on holiday with yours, I guess. My name is Jasmine Starlight" I said while extending my hand
