Ch.5 The First of Many New Things

*Monday morning, Jasmine's room*
"Wakey wakey, Sky!!" I shot up and crashed into Danny. He fell back onto the floor and clutched his head
"I'm sorry, Danny!! But why are you here??" I asked as I helped him up
"It's the first day of school...I told you last night." He said bluntly
*at school, first period*
"Class. We have a new student joining our Junior class who was not here last year. Say hello to miss Jasmine Starlight." Mr. Aaron introduced me in Science class
I got a lot of glares from girls and almost all of the guys checked me out. One actually had the nerve to wolf whistle at me!!!
Something weird happened next. The blond's head suddenly slammed into his desk. I heard a crack and saw his nose was broken.
"Sorry I'm late, Mr.Aaron....I got lost." Danny said from the door way.
"It's ok, Mr.Fenton...you and Mrs.Starlight can have a seat over there." He pointed to a joined table in the very back. We sat down and I wrote him a note
"You did that, didn't you??"
"Yup :) I was about to walk in when I saw it so I put my backpack in the hallway and worked my magic. And BTW, the blonde is Dash."
"Thanks :)"
We looked over at him and saw he was trying to mop it up with his sleeve. It made it worse
"Do you need to go to the nurse??" Mr.Aaron asked. He ran out of the room
Danny and I put our our heads on the desk and laughed at him
*at lunch*
Danny and I had on and off classes with each other. When I didn't have a class with him, I had it with either Sam or Tucker.
The school's lunch was breathing. It hissed at me when I tried to eat it
"Does your food attack you??" I asked them
"No..w-DON'T EAT IT!!!" Danny said as the food tried to attack me and our ghost senses went off
Instead, all of the food in the cafeteria swirled to form a large woman. She looked at me and lunged
We tumbled out of the cafeteria. I kicked her off and ran down the hall. I need to change and the halls were to crowded. I hit the corner and yelled
"THERE'S A FOOD FIGHT IN THE CAFETERIA!!!!" Everyone looked at me and then ran to go see it.
The food lady was held up by the swarm of students and I ran into a closet
"I'm going-what the heck?!?!" Someone was in here
"Great minds think a like.." Danny said. I face-palmed
"Lets just go fight the food lady..." We powered up and busted out into the hallway
"Animal crackers??" I almost said yes but Danny covered my mouth
"She's a bad guy...DON'T EAT HER FOOD!!"
"But I'm hungry!!!" I wined
"I'll get you food later..." He promised
"I'll hunt you down if you don't keep your promise.."
"ENOUGH TALKING!!!" The lady screamed
"Who taught you manners?!?! It's rude to interrupt people's conversations!!!" I yelled, getting angry
"That's the spirit." Danny said next to me with a smile
We blasted her with our hand bolts. She flew back and I smelled steak..I'm so hungry T~T
*one literal food fight later*
Danny and I had our last period together. I sat behind him in math. I tossed him a note asking if we could fly home because I didn't want to ride the smelly bus. He said yea but he had to text Sam and Tucker
*after school in the sky*
Since we were early, we went to the big mall. We didn't have to be home for another two hours!!
"We need to go to Spencer's, now." I said as we landed behind the building, powered down and walked inside
"What's a Spencer's??" Is he serious?!
"What is wrong with you?? You're missing out on the good life!!!" I dragged him to the store on the second floor
We left in black in red attire. Then went to Hot Topic and then....the food court ~^,^~
"I call Subway!!!" We yelled.
"Think we were separated at birth??" I asked him. He laughed and we got our food
*the flight back home*
"We need to hang out more often...I am missing out...I gotta tell Sam and Tucker!!" Danny said as he crashed into another bird
"You really like birds, don't you??" He blushed and looked down
"It's butt flew into my mouth..." I had to land and I busted out laughing
I laughed so hard, tears slide down my cheeks and I couldn't breathe. After a good twenty minutes, we took off
"If I was your girlfriend, I would never kiss you again.." I told him while giggling
"Not if I make you!!" He chased me around with his lips pouted out
I had an idea. I dashed behind a building and went invisible. I grabbed a bird and hid it behind my back
"Can't catch me!!!" Danny came soaring at me. I held up the bird and Danny kissed his tummy. The bird flew off as he opened his eyes
"Your, what ever I kissed, was soft." I laughed and told him the truth
"You kissed a bird tummy..." The look on his face made me bust out laughing again
We eventually made it home. Danny's parents were talking with mine. Uh oh. We powered down and walked up
"We were just talking about you two!!! You two are so adorable!!" Mom said. I blushed and Danny looked at the ground
"BEEP BEEP BEEP!!!" Danny's dad's phone went off
"That's funny...I don't see any ghosts..." He said as he pulled out a cellphone looking thing..it had radars and tracking stuff built into it
"Jack?? Why is the Ghost Detector going off??" Danny's mom asked
"There is a ghost in the area!! No wait....two!!! Maddie, get the net!!!" They ran off as Danny and I looked at each other
"They always do this...it's sorta a hobby of theirs..." He explain to me and my parents
"GHOST!!!!! LETS GET 'EM!!!" My parents yelled as they ran after Danny's parents. Face palming, I explained
"I never told you what they do for a living...they're just like your parents..they got payed to build the portal. The one we met in..." He laughed
"It's scary the similarities our families share.." I laughed and then thought
"You don't think we're distant cousins, do you??" I hope I'm wrong
"Do you have any Fenton's in your family??"
"Nope."
"Then it's just a scary coincidence." He smiled at me as we walked inside
*at the Fenton's front door*
"Well, I'll see you tomorrow, Sky." Danny said with a wink because we'll see each other later tonight to fly around and stuffs
"See ya!!!" I hugged him and whispered
"Tag, you're it!!" I ran off back to my house. I laughed and looked out my window.
I saw a silhouette across the street. It looked at me and vanished. Probably no one
Sam and Tucker's convo :D
"How are going to tell them??" Tucker said to Sam from inside the nasty burger
"I don't know..." Sam replied while stealing a fry from the basket
"We both know about her powers....it's obvious because of Danny...."
"I say we just say it to her face." Sam said bluntly. She's been acting out of character lately...
"I hope this will get Danny back...."
"I think I can solve your...dilemma..." A girl said as she sat down at their table. She looked to be a Junior too
"And you are??" Sam asked
"They call me Scarlet. Scarlet Sulley." She said with forced bravado
"How can you help us??" Tucker asked suspiciously
"I can take out the Jasmine in our equation..." She said an eager smile
"What's the catch??" Sam asked
"Just let me hang around you two for now....the rest will come later....Deal??" Scarlet arched her eye brow
"Deal." Sam and Tucker said together.
"But can I get her number first??" Tucker asked with hope in his eyes. The girls face palmed
"Sure, Tucker...." Sam said with sarcasm lacing every letter
"YES!!!!!" Scarlet and Sam smacked the back of his head

"Mission accomplished, Teacher. I have befriended the two." I said with a kneel
"Very good....by the way, one of my friends are here....meet the brains behind your friend Sam. Mrs. Ember." I looked to see a rock star looking chic with electric blue hair...sorta like Jasmine Moonlights...
I ran up to her and hugged her waist
"I love your style!!!!" I yelled and smiled up at her. She peeled me off and hovered above me
"Sorry, cupcake....I don't do kids..." She said as she plucked a a few guitar strings
"I'm sorry for the inconvenience...but you two must share a room being the only girls in this operation.." Teacher said
"Fine but I'm building a wall." Ember pouted as she followed me...what a drag =_=
I'm starting school tomorrow...see you there Danny...you to, Jasmine...this will be fun
