Chapter 2- Voices like Vultures
*Rebecca's P.O.V*
I yawned, my hand rubbing at my eyes while I waited at the bus stop for the bus to come and pick me and take me to hell. Also known as school. I didn't really get much sleep last night mainly because the fact I kept hearing screams and whispers in my head.
I would of done anything just to hear Allison's voice because it was a lot more friendly then any of the other ones. The voices were random they only came when they felt like it and nothing really triggered it, I was just hoping Allison would be able to explain it but I have been hearing her voice very little recently and much more of the voices of the people who sounded like they were being decapitated.
"Oh look who it is" A familiar voice filled my ears causing me to turn around and look at the figure walking towards me. "Eww it's Mr Dunbar" I hissed while twisting my face into a look of disgust. Liam raised his eyebrow at me while he stood two foot away from me.
"It's Master Dunbar to you" Liam smirked, kind of like he was bragging. I simply rolled my eyes at his cockiness. Is any teenage boy out there who isn't cocky these days? I guess not. "More like peasant Dunbar" I grinned at him while he folded his hands over his chest.
I could feel my hand starting to shake a little indicating that I was nervous. I mean who wouldn't be nervous on the first day at their new school but I am also scared about something else; What if I flip out at school if I hear these voices in my head again? I mean they can't last forever can they?
"Are you nervous?" Liam asked me probably clocking onto my shaking hand which I moved to grip the strap of my bag. I turned to the blue eyed boy who looked at me with concern, I must admit he does look adorable when he looks concerned with his plumped lips and his bulging blue eyes.
"A little" I giggled slightly for some unknown reason then shrugged it off, "Well we have each other, we can get through this. I am here if you need... a friend remember?" Liam smiled at me, slightly reassuring me. After a few minutes the bus arrived and we both got on taking the closet seats which were at the front of the bus while other people went directly to the back.
"Do you know any of your lessons today? I don't, I need to go pick up my schedule from the office" Liam huffed with a sound of annoyance and anger in his voice. I wonder why his mood changed so quickly. I shook my head, I guess I needed to go get my schedule as well.
"English, but then I need to go and pick up my schedule" My voice ran out with no control, I flicked through my bag to make sure I got everything. Liam didn't respond straight away so I looked at him and his eyes gazed over me again with a look of confusion hinted on his face. "If you haven't got your schedule then how do you know you have English?" The boy questioned with a raised brow.
I felt a tint of coldness run through my body like the shiver of ice, how did I know this? I couldn't of just guessed the future right? I heard a few muffled sounds in my head but not loud enough to make me need to clutch my head in pain. The voices sounded like cry of pain like people were dying; the sound of crisp fire burned through my ear causing me to just stare in shock and not concentrate on anything else.
"Bex!" Liam shook my shoulder causing me to jump, I knitted my eyebrows together while looking at him. I must of just dazed off for a few minutes. "We are here" the brown haired boy informed me like I was stupid. I grabbed my things and followed him off the bus while some girl behind me kept bumping into me which made me mad.
"Do you mind!?" I snapped at the girl who looked slightly shocked at my explosion and decided not to argue back and managed to keep her head attached to her body. I hopped off the bus and waited with Liam who just chuckled at me, his lips tugging into a cute smile. "You really are something aren't you" .
