Chapter 26. Full Moon
Stiles' jeep pulled up into an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of town. I was biting anxiously on my finger nails, my head felt empty. The voices hadn't returned but their was cold feeling through me. It reminded me of dead bodies when their blood runs cold of death.
I'm not sure, but it feel like death is near.
Deaton recons that Kira and Scott have been taken down to Mexico by Kate argent and her gang of berserkers. Deaton's source is from a man with a third eye who is able to see things, my normal mind would of told me why trust this man but since I am accustom to unusual world of the Supernatural I think it is easier to just go along with it.
Stiles and Malia quickly jumped out the jeep when it became stationary, a Black escort van also pulled into the warehouse. My mind started to question where Derek and his little solider girl got it from? Maybe she was part of the police force.
I shrugged off the thought, reaching to unbuckle my seat belt but Liam caught my hand quickly before I could even reach the button. The feeling of his warm hand in mine made head start to burn in my cheeks, my eyes trailed up from his tanned fingers which were locked over my hand up to his eyes which glistened towards me.
"Rebecca Please" His breath came out deep and husky. "Can you please just stay here and not come down with us?" His question seemed so full of hope, as if he planned for me to just abandon Scott and not bother to give him any help. Scott may have aggravated me but there is no way I was going to leave him hurt in Mexico. His helped me over this long hurdle which seems to just be getting worst.
"No Liam" I replied bluntly. Folding my hands across my chest to emphasis my stubbornness. "You had spent a lot of time trying to persuade Stiles and Malia to let you go. I'm not wasting my time persuading you but I'm going!"
"That's final" I spoke, after leaving a small break between my previous words. Like exhaled, squeezing my hand in his grip with a tiny bit of pressure.
"I don't want to wolf out and hurt you Bex" Liam muttered. This was Liam's biggest fear, that he was unable to control his wolf around other people and maybe he might lose control and seriously hurt anyone. Underneath Liam's raging anger is his caring side for others. This is the Liam Dunbar I love the most.
I was scared myself, I wasn't going to deny it. I knew Liam wouldn't intentionally wolf out and hurt me. He loved me, there was no denying that. But there was this tiny voice, at the back of my skull whispering their is just a chance that he could wolf out. People we love can still break our hearts. Edward did break Bella's heart and left her insane by doing the wrong thing.
I just can't be left broken hearted. I don't even know if I could survive without Liam.
"You won't Liam" My voice came out crackled, but I sent him a lopsided smile. He returned it, his fingers left my hand to push some lose locks back behind my ear, he leaned in closer and placed a small kiss to my lips.
I swear this kid can send me insane just by doing all the simple and little romantic things. Like kissing me.
Me and Liam eventually jumped out the car after our private minute talk. We were joined by Derek, solider girl (I quickly learned that her name was Braeden) and Peter Hale. Peter was a character I had learnt so little about, Lydia did mention to me he was the alpha who turned Scott and it was his bite which gave her, her banshee powers.
I still question how I'm a banshee since I was never actually bittern or anything. It is still a mystery which I hope maybe one day I can get answers for.
"Are we really bringing him" Derek huffed, like his usual sour self pointing at Liam like he was the last person to be picked in gym class. I narrowed my eyes, glaring at Derek as he made his rude remark about my boyfriend.
