and this probably moves too fast but yolo :/ we've all been waiting for it anyways

his eyes fluttered open, and he rolled over, reaching for harry. he wasn't there.

"harry?"

he opened his eyes and sat up.

"harry?"

he climbed out of bed and checked in the guest room. he wasn't there either.

he walked into the living room and nearly tripped over bits of broken glass as he remembered what had happened last night.

he had tried to kill himself.

he remembered harry holding him, and singing to him, but he fell asleep. where was harry now?

"harry?"

he couldn't leave him. not when he was like this.

he was alone again.

"harry?"

"harry? harry? harry where are you?"

he looked around him as his surroundings began to spin.

"w-what's going on?"

he yelled for harry one last time before tripping, and he could feel the piercing pain of glass. and then he woke up.

sweat dripped off of his forehead and his face was a shade lighter than normal.

"you okay?" a husky voice asked from beside him.

he crawled over to harry and hugged him tightly, and harry raised an eyebrow in suspicion.

"i had this dream-this nightmare-i woke up and you were gone and-"

"shhh. it's okay. i'm here. do you want some breakfast?"

"i don't-i don't cook, there's only cereal."

"i'll go get you some."

he nodded briefly and collapsed back onto the covers.

he was so glad harry was here and that he was okay. it had all seemed so real.

he wondered what would have happened if harry hadn't been there, but then he stopped, because that wasn't something he wanted to think about.

he liked harry. whether he wanted to admit it or not.

so, he walked into the kitchen where harry had furrowed his eyebrows at the label of a carton.

harry heard him come in, and suggested, "you know, you should really buy-"

he froze. louis had come up behind him and wrapped his arms around him.

"w-what are you doing?"

"what is it look like i'm doing? you were saying..."

harry took a deep breath and sighed, "i-i was saying...organic...look, we can't-we can't do this."

louis pulled away and looked at him. he didn't even know himself what he thought about harry. it could have been out of loneliness. no one else was there for him besides harry. but it could be more.
