Three hours into the drive, I realised that it was a super dumb idea to not eat prior to leaving for a five-hour car trip. We stopped at a gas station which luckily had a cafe attached to it.

Marcel had called Anne and Dad to inform them that we were stopping to get an early lunch. They didn't want to stop, so they're still on the road.

The main reason why we did stop to get food was that I was constantly telling the boys how hungry I am and they got annoyed with me. So when Edward pulled over to pour gas, it was the perfect opportunity to go get some food.

As soon as we had pulled over, I grabbed my wallet and jumped out of the car, and then started running, like a child, to the cafe. So I'm currently in line, with 4 people in front of me, and no one behind me.

There were many choices on the menu. About six options, so it was very hard to choose at least one item there that I actually enjoyed. There were ham, cheese and tomato sandwichs, as well as bagels. So I was standing in line contemplating which one to choose.

I hear a laugh to my left and look over to see Edward laughing at me.

"You should really stop pulling that face when you're trying to make a decision." He says, whilst walking over and standing behind me in the line.

I just roll my eyes and ignore him looking back at the food and trying to make a decision.

"Don't get the ham, cheese and tomato sandwich or the bagel. They look old and disgusting. If I were you I'd get the bacon and egg roll because they're cooking it right there in front of you. So there won't be any shady work on the food," Edward says, still standing behind me.

I turn around to see him smirking at me.

"You're cute when you're annoyed." He says, sending a wink my way.

"Why are you even talking to me?" I say turning back to face the counter and crossing my arms. There are only two people left in front of me. The person ordering and the old lady in front of me.

"Because Marcel and Harry aren't anywhere in this cafe." He says.

I scoff, "Go talk to that brick wall over there."

He laughs, "But the brick wall won't talk back, baby girl."

A shiver runs through my body, making all the hairs stand up. He couldn't help himself.

I was about to turn around and yell at him when the lady turns around, before I could, and looks at us grinning.

"Ah! Young love at its finest. You two make such a cute couple." She says looking from Edward to me.

"Aren't we just?" Edward says wrapping his arm around my shoulders.

She smiles and sighs, then turning back around to go order her food at the counter.

"See, a random even thinks we make a cute couple. We are destined to be together," Edward whispers in my ear.

"No." I simply say shrugging out of his hold and looking around to see where Marcel and Harry are. Maybe they could save me.

I look towards where Edward parked the car and notice them walking out from behind it, taking note of their surroundings and looking like they were being careful.

~~~~*~~~~
The radio was playing Starships by Nicki Minaj, and I couldn't help myself but sing along to it. Even though I could not sing.
I may have been singing really loudly because Edward turned the radio off, abruptly, and yelled at me to shut up.
"Party pooper," I mutter under my breath.
