I sat down next to Kanda. His mood, was very bad. Waves of anger and frustration just rolled off him. I just ignored it. He was pretty easy to deal with if you just didn't talk to him. I had a feeling me and him were going to get along fine, that is as long as I kept my mouth shut. I started thinking, with this silence all you could do was think. Why did I decide to sit next to this impossible man? There were plenty of empty tables. There was even that Johnny kid. He sat a table with lots of other people. The dark green haired girl and Reever were there. They seemed to be having a good time. There was lots of laughing. I felt kind of lonely over here.

I looked around the room for the nearest clock. Luckily I found it instantly, unluckly it was on the wall right next to us and I couldn't read it. I had just finished my food so I got up. "I'll take my tray back, and get a look at the clock!" I thought to myself. I was certainly a genius. I picked up my tray and started walking backwards trying to see the clock. It was 12:20.

My back bumped against another person's back. I looked up to see who it was. It was a finder. A very tall, and muscular finder. He looked like he could squash me in a second. The leftover spaghetti on my plate had flown off my tray and into his hair. "Oops," I said with probably the most pitiful look on my face.

"Does running into people and throwing spaghetti everywhere seem fun to you?" He glared down at me. I think I might have yelped.

"N-n-no," I sputtered out. "It was an accident I swear. I was trying to look at the clock." I pointed to the clock on the way, hoping that it was helping to prove my point, "I'm so sorry, I really didn't mean to."

"Didn't mean to?" His voice was very loud all on it's own, but now he started yelling. "Yeah, I'm sure it was an accident! None of you exorcist appreciate finders." He was venting his anger on me, wasn't he? "You guys walk all over us, and when one of us dies, you don't even feel bad."

"If someone died I would feel bad. Even if I didn't know the person." He didn't seem to think I was telling the truth.

"Uh-huh. Sure. You say that, but all you exorcist are the same." He looked at me with hateful eyes. Ugh, how did it even get to this? "You know what? I should teach you a lesson." I looked at him, eyes wide. What did he mean by that? He picked me up by the collar of my shirt. My feet were tangling, and I still had my try in my hands. He brought his hand up to punch me.

I looked around the room. Everyone had their eyes on us, but none of them looked like they were going to step in and help. I looked back at him, He had a smirk on his face. He was enjoying this. I closed my eyes and anticipated the impact of his fist to my face.

A sound echoed through the silent room. It sounded like the unsheathing of a sword. I opened my eyes. Sure enough, a sword at the finder's throat. I knew who this sword belonged to. I looked back, and saw Kanda. "Shut up." He said, "you're making my food taste bad." I ignored that last part. He saved me! He really saved me!

The man dropped me muttering something about being "not worth it." Whatever. I turned to Kanda, "Thanks." I said bowing politely. I had my manners, I only used them on adults though. I guess Kanda counts as an adult, but I think he acts like a kid. He said his, "che." and I walked off to return my tray and dishes.

I think me and him will get along just fine.

I was skipping along to where I was told my room would be, when I realized, I didn't even know what floor I was on. Oh, how I hate big buildings. I always get lost. Cross and I once stayed at this Lady's mansion. It was huge, but not nearly as big as this colossal place.

I wandered around until I saw that dark green hair girl. I walked up to her. "Um, I don't know where my room is." I asked sheepishly, "could you help me find it?"
