The walk to Shiogama hospital seemed longer than yesterday. It was probably because he was anxious. Though of why he had no idea. The temperature had not risen as of last night. Knowing how oblivious Oikawa is Iwaizumi brought an extra scarf.

He clutched the small bag in his hand and walked through the threshold. A man, the only person working the desk, motioned for him to sit down in the lobby. There would probably be a while before he could see Oikawa. Finally, the nurse that had taken care of Oikawa yesterday emerged from behind the sliding glass doors that separated the inner hospital from the lobby. He jumped up and trotted over to her. "He should be done dressing by now so its fine to go back." She pointed to the eastern wing of the hospital. "He's at the end of the hall. You two have a nice day." She smiled and Iwaizumi bowed.

His sneakers scuffed against the tile. The environment was surprisingly quiet. There seemed to be not even a speck of another presence. Iwaizumi's anxiety tripled as he clutched his hands around the doorknob. He took a deep breath and swung the door open.

"Yo, stupid Oika-!"

"Hey, Iwa-chan." Oikawa reached over to the bottom of the bed to grab his shirt. He turned the shirt inside out and stretched it over his head. The muscles in his back flexed as he pulled his shirt down over his triceps. Iwaizumi quickly turned around.
"Are you stupid?!?!"
He stayed with his face towards the wall so that Oikawa couldn't see him blushed. "What?" Oikawa laughed. "It's all clear to turn around now." Iwaizumi bit his bottom lip and swiftly wheeled to face him. "Here." He turned his face and held out the bag in front of him. The bag which he'd realized he should've swapped for a different one.

"What's this?" He smiled.
"A decent present."

Iwaizumi stared at the corner which yesterday, housed many sympathy baskets. It was now empty. Only the occasional dust took up the space now.

I didn't think he'd actually do it.

He unwrapped the paper from the book and untied the bow. Throwing them behind him on the bed. He looked like a little kid under the Christmas tree.

He dangled the necklaces in his hand. Inside were pictures of them in middle school. At the regional volleyball summer camp. Oikawa smiled brightly with his arm hung around Iwaizumi who glowered at the camera. The Suns gleams reflected off the glass in a dance.

"Why'd you give me two?"
"Stupid, one of them is mine."

"Iwa-chan." He paused. For a split second there seemed to be a faint frown that crossed his mouth. But just as soon as it came, it disappeared. "Thank you." Iwaizumi ogled Oikawa. An expression crossed his face that he had never seen before. He leered with brown eyes so bright Iwaizumi could see his own reflection. He swiveled his head towards the door. "Ye-Yeah." Oikawa walks back to the bed and slips his shoes and jacket on. They begin to walk to the exit western of the main hospital. Iwaizumi pulls out the scarf that he'd brought for Oikawa.

"Here, it's cold outside."
"Thanks mom."

Iwaizumi swiftly chops Oikawa's side.
He half laughed and half whined.
"Ow, ow. Sorry Iwa-chan." Oikawa fixes the scarf before Iwaizumi opens the door. Oikawa stretched which caused the bottom of his jacket to rise above his waist. A shiver raised in his spine, he immediately dropped his arms and spoke. "So where are we going?" Iwaizumi raised his eyebrow.
"Your'e going home. I'm going back to Tohoku." "What?! I just left the hospital. Since I've been admitted this is the first time we've seen each other in three years. I really wanna spend time with you."
